This was an easy but long hike! I spent most of my morning taking in the views around Puddingstone, and it was worth it. Not too crowded when you get to the actual trail parts of the loop on the north side either.

The trail ends through a residential trailer park and you feel like you’re encroaching on their privacy. Otherwise a good workout.

Very nice hiking experience. Always wondered what was in those San Dimas Mountain. Beautiful view of our local area hills, and Ragingwater park.

adventourous

We would have given this trail only 3 stars because it wasn’t foretold that there is a $10 park entrance fee and not clearly marked if we were on the trail or not. But had to go with a 4 star rating.because my dog learned to swim today!!! Way to go Ollie!

This is a great trail if you have kids. it’s level for the most part and is good if you want to train them to hike.

love this trail, love the sights, friendliness of the people.

As other reviewers have said, the 'correct' path of this trail is VERY unclear. So go into it with the mindset of making your own path. I alternated between jogging on a dirt bike path and the road around the lake. There was shady areas for about a third of the way, and the views of the lakes were lovely. I was there on a Sunday morning, and there weren't very many people on the trail.

I would suggest going to the free parking at the east side of the park, near the airport. You only have to walk about a quarter mile to get to the main campground, and can avoid paying the $10 fee from other entrances.

Just about 1/2 of this is shaded and made the walk more pleasant. Views of the lake, lots of bird watching opportunities, wild flowers. Made for a beautiful day hike/walk activity

Love this place!

Clean trails and nice people. Just stay aware of the mountain bikers coming down the hills when you're on the trails.

half way through the trail gets hard to find and becomes like a 1 person trail and like wild plant life and dey plants all newr your leg. after you leave the park area you have no idea where the trail is.

Signs for trail were missing and was easy to get lost. Too many trails overlapping and hard to find but overall was a good hike.

Beautiful lake but it is hard to find out where all of the trails are. $10 to park and the girls at both entrances couldn't help me with directions

Fun loop, but poor signage. Ride solo or with friends for more fun.
