Always love this trail.

Always a great hike. Plenty of elevation and views.

Palo Alto residents only, bring your ID or a friend

No dogs allowed at this trail. Also it’s says Palo Alto residents and guests only allowed on this park. Ended up having to turn around.

Great trail with lots of green mossy trees. Must be (or with) a Palo Alto resident.

Pretty, forest like trail

Great trail but this is not a place to bring your dog as the trail prohibits dogs explicitly and I found out the hard way (a $300 fine)

Mostly covered. The back half of the trail is currently closed but you can cut down the fire trail and still do a loop so you don’t need to double back.

Its NOT dog friendly, as described. We arrived and had to take alternate trails. Los Trancos is specifically no-dog.

I was able to do the beginning of this trail but the meat of it is closed due to the storms this past winter. The trail is completely gone and not walkable anymore. But there are plenty of other hikes in this park, lots and lots of trails. As the other reviewer pointed out you are supposed to be a Palo Alto resident to use this area but there's nobody at the gate during the week.

Apparently you have to be a resident of Palo Alto to hike here. lame
