Decent trail, pretty overgrown in most parts and loads of rattlesnakes that are common in the area are out and about. Not much of a challenge, just some winding and incline here and there when climbing the hills. Allows you to hike further back into the hills and take other trails, however some are closed due to the overgrowth or otherwise.

This trail is very hidden and it is very overgrown with many trails that lead off to no where. If you are a beginner mountain biker stay away it is rocky and very much all down hill single track.

Rattlesnake infested! Went around 10:00am it is a small narrow path walked on the trail for 3 mins and rattle snakes started warning each other. We then drove to another near by trail.

This is a neat little trail that could use some maintenance. People have created little offshoot trails so it's probably easy to get lost. It's rocky and steep in some downhill parts or it's just steep and slippery. I wouldn't recommend if your knees or ankles are sensitive. Wear shoes with good tread on this trail. I had running shoes with no texture and slipped a few times. The view and plants are nice. Three stars because I saw broken glass all over the ground in some particularly steep spots.

It was my first hike in a while so this was a challenging one at the start. We started the hike off of Patria where the trail start is somewhat hidden. Narrow trails and overgrown plants. Near constant bees buzzing. Some dog poop. A rocky incline but a great view of Orange at the top of the hill. It was somewhat difficult to tell which trail was the correct trail. One could tell that previous hikers had strayed off the intended trail. It was not crowded at all (Memorial Day). I also saw some backpackerson the trail, likely testing out their gear which was cool. The walk back along the street was nothing special.

What makes this hike truly special is the fact that at the top you can see all in one panorama; the backside of Anaheim Hills, all the way to downtown LA to Long Beach to Fashion Island in Newport Beach all in one view. As well a great training hike if your looking on how to power through inclines and declines on rocky terrain.

Fun, quick trail. Great views and a huge variety of plants and foliage, but no trees. The whole family hiked it yesterday, my youngest being 7. My young ones did well with the hill climb(s). We live in Santa Ana and it took us 10 minutes to get there. I would definitely recommend it.

I would not recommend this trail to anyone allergic to bees. The trail is slightly overgrown and the flowers hanging into the walking space attract a lot of bees, however I did not get stung. Pros: not a lot of foot traffic, large initial incline leads to gorgeous views early on in the hike (360 degree views!), cool volcanic rocks everywhere, cactus flowers in bloom. Cons: Bees, not much shade, unclear trail at times from overgrown plants. I also accidentally cut the trail in half because I took a wrong turn.
