The serpentine grasslands of Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve are famous for their magnificent displays of wildflowers each spring. The park's location, within easy access to Interstate 280 and Edgewood Road, makes this beautiful display readily accessible to the population centers of the San Francisco Peninsula. The Park's 467 acres of woodlands and grasslands afford wonderful hiking and sightseeing opportunities. What Edgewood Park lacks in size, it makes up for in wildflower diversity,

Nice short hike, not shaded at some parts

We sis this hike as a family with a 4 and 7 year old. The trails were very well marked and had lots to see. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Great hike for kids or elderly, but for more serious hikers it’s def not the coolest score out there. Lots of foot traffic and noises...there are beautiful views though! 4/10. Also - beware of moldy poop on the trails. Idk if dogs are allowed but it certainly looks so.

Very beautiful place first time here, yes in Christmas Day lol! And they have a lot of information about the the trails and area.

Nice walk up.. a little sparse vegetation at the top... On way down, took the station wagon route which was a little steep.. convenient location

Great hike any day of the week!!

Great easy hike. Easy to find with parking nearby. Probably the nicest bathroom facilities at a park than I’ve ever seen. Except for one incline at the start, I’d probably classify this as more of an Easy hike than a Moderate one. We only ran into a handful of people, but we also went on an overcast day after it had rained in the morning so weather may have kept people away. Saw several deer up close and pretty views. Good for a casual hike.

Good initial elevation gain, some good scenic views. Good for a one to two hour hike.

Nice, equal variations in elevation, tree coverage, and views.

This is a easy hike that is good for a hot day since it is mostly covered.

Had a fun hike.

Very nice hike with great scenery

Great Trail to enjoy nature while walking and getting your cardio going. There's different trails to choose from but it's a great trail to begin your day before getting to work. I suggest getting there between 5-530 am to be done by 7-730am

I love it. Good way to start your day

Wildflowers are abundant in quantity and variety, particularly on the Sunset trail portion. Views at peak are great.

Easy hike after the initial uphill hike but then you are rewarded with great views.

Went on a Sunday and the parking lot was full. A well covered area for the first half and open views for the second half. Still muddy after the big storm but a ranger was present and warned people about certain trails that were washed out.

Good hike

It was a nice experience walking through the different trials. I saw deer and a small rattle snake too.

Great trail! I arrived slightly after 3pm and followed a group in front of me. I followed the walk path and went slightly off course onto sunset trail and the walk there was beautiful.. There is a scenic point on the top of old oaks trail.
There are people and runners on the trail but it is moderately crowded.. Overall an enjoyable experience and will recommend.
Note: no dogs allowed

Nice short 3 miles.

Very scenic, lovely fields of fall wildflowers, and deer at trial side

No dogs or pets allowed. Drove over 15 miles to get here. To the developers of All Trails you need to update .

I really liked this trail! It has a good mix of hills and flat, sun and shade etc. There were people but it didn't feel crowded and minimal animal droppings which is nice! Definitely would come again.

Pretty moderate with some switchbacks and rolling hills as you ascend and descend the hill. Great trail if you want to get out and work up a sweat without too much intensity. We passed many joggers and from experience I would say it's a good trail for training. We took Edgewood to Serpentine to Sylvan and back to the Edgewood main parking lot for a loop that was just under 4 miles.
