Great Trail lots of options to choose your distance!!!

Nice trail. Definitely I will return to take side trails. Be careful, there are a lot of rattlesnakes! However, as elsewhere on such trails in California.

Easy to moderate trail to the peak with a little surprise at the summit. Wedge between boulders is a metal box containing journals and pen encouraging hikers to share their experience hiking Stanley Peak. Love the idea and made sure to share my thoughts. Most of the trail is paved with loose sandy soil and only almost half a mile to the summit that the trail became rocky. Easily doable even for children who love adventures.

Much harder then the reviews led us to believe but my husband and I found the surrounding nature to be worth the effort! LOTS of incline but it was so beautiful and peaceful

Excellent trail. Take a map if you haven't hiked it before. Go early, take plenty of water. Have fun!

Great trail with lots of options to go in different directions. We hiked a total of 7.9 miles and went up Stanley Peak which is 0.7 miles out and back to the top with nice views overlooking Escondido. Lots of elevation for a good workout plus different types of scenery, which alternated from being woodsy to a more sage brush environment.

Theres a variety of options. Paved with slight grades to completely dirt with rock, step grades, or for acomplete experience of both do the loop. Even the full loop has a few route options more difficult.

Great trail. Steep incline. Lots of trail choices!

Plain and simple... a must do. Can't wait to return to this loop for the fall when the rain starts!

Nice loop. You have options on directions as well as some side trails so not likely to get boring if you repeat. Great views. Bikers were considerate and trails wide enough to accommodate all.

My 5 year old daughter and I went for a hike in the rain one Sunday about 5 months back. Going early in the rain we were alone with the wildlife. Quite magical. We ended up jogging back from the lake on the loop. Excellent easy hike.

My favorite North San Diego County trail. You can make this as long as you want as there are multiple trails spread throughout Daley Ranch with some very challenging trails to more easy trails. As the warmer months are fast approaching, make sure to bring hydration as it can get very hot. Also, the earlier the better for your hikes. If you follow the full perimeter of Daley Ranch, you can make it a 13 mile trek. Love it!

Epic view, more than happy!

This is one of the best trails in San Diego county. It has so many variations and challenging trails for all levels. I haven’t found another trail that matches its intensity and the sights and sounds are a real payoff

I love this hike- I made a loop out of it. Easy to follow and many trails to go explore. I recommend it.

Great hike from this starting point. Beautiful views!

We started on the Boulder Loop and took the ridge short cut across which was EXCELLENT for our teens that like to climb up boulders. Lots to climb on and great views!!

Great view once you get up there !

Nice hike. Daley Ranch has a lot of desirable traits to its hikes. They are clean and well maintained. The Stanley Peak trail... Once you get to it is only about 1/2 a mile long, but it feels good after the previous 2 1/2 miles up because it gets a little more intense. It's a quick elevation change in that last 1/2 and the views are amazing. Be careful of mountain bikers!

This trail was a good time. Overall there are so many different paths that you can take which is nice. This will allow you to make the hike as long and challenging as you would like. We ended up going about 11 miles and started the hike around 7am. We really enjoyed being there early and seeing the "earth wake up", with lots of spiderwebs covered in dew, fog over the lake, and much more. Make sure to watch out for mountain bikers, they are all over the place, and you cannot always hear them coming around the corner.

Lots of pavement and rangers happy to write tickets for off-leash dogs. Beautiful up top.

Awesome hike started early . Got to see the change in life from morning dew to midday song birds and the cool shade of the oak trees. We did 10.1 miles but had trouble with recording. Phone lost service. Anyhow enjoy it grab a map at trail entrance and use AllTrails to guide you there’s a lot of side trails to enjoy just be careful there some good rutts

The trail is pretty narrow the majority of the way so be cautious of bikers. It’s a very fast trail for bikes and not a lot of visibility for them to notice you and slow down in time.

Great views and just an overall nice hike. Bags and trash cans for dog waste along the way.

Nice hike! Levels out a lot! I went at 0830, finished at 1230... 0630 start time would be best!

Great to get the heart pumping at the start and then mellow out wide trail for most of it then slims down for one part pretty steep towards the top lots of dogs on the trail and their poop so mind your step. Go in the morning there is good parking till about 8 am ish and then it gets full fast . Bring water it gets hot and not much shade after 9ish also a good hand full of bikers but all nice .

nice loop, shade under trees but the trail opens up nicely for great views

This should not be rated as easy. Not a bad hike but lots of uphill, lose rocks and the trail is rutted in spots. This and very little shade makes it more moderate than easy.
