Well travelled. Took Moro ridge up and back. Good starting climb and restrooms at about two and a half miles. Great view coming back!

The scenery is okay, but when you get to the top the views are beautiful. The hike is fairly easy. Well marked and clean trails. You can end the day at the beach with the same day pass.

Nice campsites, clean toilet, great view. A little damp in the morning from coastal dew

Got a little lost and went up through the canyons but overall not too bad. Lots of steep parts. There’s an ocean view only in the beginning or end of the trail depending which end you start at. The rest of the trail is just dried shrubbery.

Expect to pay $15 day parking on the weekend. M-F parking is only $5!

Overall good workout and great weather!

A nice morning walk. Some runners on the trial and some bikes, but not too many bikes. Great views and ocean breeze.

Great 2ish hour hike! Incline is a bit steep otw up but the views are definitely pretty! No shade so wear a hat!

My wife and I started our hike about 7:30am from the Ridge Park location in a counter- clockwise direction. Started out with a fairly cool temperature (65ish), but started to climb fairly quick, but a little more than half way thru our hike we we covered with shade and trees. It actually got a little chilly. Overall, we thought the hike was wonderful, but didn’t consider it a “Hard” Hike. I think it was more of a Moderate-Hard Hike. Next time we will migrate to the “Elevator” Trail for a more challenging Trail. A few hikers, a runner, and a few mountain-bikers were sharing the trail. Able to see Catalina Island today, and saw some indication (paw prints) of either Bobcat or Coyote. About a week before this trek, we saw a Coyote.

Great regular MTB workout if you’re a local. Suggest you take fence line at the top instead of Bommer for some more fun!

Great ride on Sunday afternoon when hikers are done.

Great view.

Nice trails, beautiful views.

Hike this trail all year round. Great views and one heck of a calorie burn.

The trail is nice, Maintained with a fantastic view.

First overnight trip with my eleven year old scout. Tiring but a lot of fun

I would say it starts easy and then gets hard.

Had a great time. Amazing ocean views.

Hiked this trail down to shoreline, over to the Beachcomber and back. 10.5 Miles. Beautiful views.

Nice walk

Nice trails. Great views.

Great uphills.

Amazing views

Obviously a popular place to go! Quite a few people sharing the trail on the way in but drops off the further you go in and becomes more secluded. 0 shade so make sure to bring proper sun protection. The hike back up through Rattlesnake Trail is the best part. Some "mini scrambling" and cool places to rest for 5 mins and enjoy the view. Not my favorite hike in the area but still worth the outing :).

It was amazing view! We loved this trail and will come back for the ocean view for sure! We hiked 6.2 miles for 2 hours!! Early morning is recommended as there is not much shade or canopy.

Great workout, watch out for flies on the uphill climb. Views are pretty sweet.

Wonderful hike! Not too crowded and the trail was wide enough for bikers to easily pass. If it wasn't overcast, I'm sure the ocean views would have been amazing...I will have to come back again!

I love this hike for the following reasons:
1. It close to home - anywhere in south LA County or Orange County.
2. It is near the beach, so great views and bonus of spending part of the day on the beach after the hike.
3. Trails offer a variety so you can get the work-out you desire: short, long or difficult.
4. Choice of 4 campsites if you want to stay overnight.

Beautiful Mother’s day hike

Great hike, not too difficult. Only one uphill stretch otherwise very straightforward.

Great trail but that Poles section was tough! Bring lots of water, there is no shade on this trail!
