Access from Rancho Road makes this surprisingly close to central Thousand Oaks. There’s a great combination of shady woods, chaparral-covered hillsides, challenging ridgeline climbs, and route-finding. Watch for meadow muffins from the neighborhood horses.

Rocky but great for beginners and aspiring hikers. Shoes with grips recommended. Lots of rocks and lots of great views!

Good hike. Wouldn’t go on a hot day. Like everyone said very rocky trail but views are amazing.

Debrief is the time day yyte df

So beautiful! There’s a chair that overlooks the mountains and city below when you reach the top of one of the trails.

Beautiful view of Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village from the top. Not a lot of foot traffic. Very peaceful. There are a lot of rocks, so watch your step

Took the Triunfo Canyon Trail from the park to the Conejo Crest bench. Lots of wildflowers. Way more than I expected. Was very surprised by the number of Catalina Mariposa Lilies. The view was hazy but the wildflowers made up for the less than spectacular view. It's a very rocky trail so watch your footing and don't shuffle your feet.

Fun, both enjoyable and a little intense .
