I really want to give this more like 2.5 stars. On the plus side it’s pretty easy access, paved the whole way so it’s stroller, wagon and wheelchair friendly and it’s an easy, fairly flat trail. It’s a nice trail to take a toddler on. There is a port-a-potty on one end and there are nice table areas to picnic. There are also many river access spots, if that interests you. That being said, the trail is not very beautiful, especially during the summer when the trimmed and cleared brush and tree limbs are just lying on the trail edges getting brown, and the freeway noise is prevalent. The trail allows dogs on leashes, which is nice, but even with dog waste stations and trash cans on the trail, you have to watch for poop piles, which is disappointing. All in all we use this trail frequently because it is easy and convenient, but it’s not our favorite trail for getting out into nature.
