This park is open one half hour before sunrise to one half hour after sunset.

A little baby hike. Huge ants all over the place. Rabbits and lizards

Nice walk to warm up for Rubidoux. Lot of homeless evidence.

There isn't much to look at scenery wise here, but when you get to the top you're able to get a pretty good 360 degree view of Riverside! It can also be accessed through California Ave (good butt workout). It's a little disappointing that it literally only takes 10-15 minutes to reach the top but it's good if you're looking for a quickie. All paths are dirt, and it isn't very stroller friendly unless you walk the bottom loops. There is a parking lot on Challen Ave and a place for doggie bags/doggie water fountain. No bathrooms though! Watch out for the big ass ants, they are everywhere. Every now and then someone sees a coyote, and there are signs on each entrance to the park that warn of rattlesnakes so watch your steps.
