I come here often. It takes me about an hour and a half. Nice breeze and a decent incline for half of the trail. Not much shade so prepare for that. Dog friendly. Kid friendly.

Got a little late start (10:30a) I recommend earlier or later .... little to no shade and it gets hot out there. Bring plenty of water. Lots of hikers and bikers all very friendly. Overall it's a good hike.

No shade in the area so get 'er done early. Decent views of stuff I've driven by for decades. Done with all the trails here and done with being in the area for medical stuff for my wife. Was here for 5 1/2 weeks. Back to the ocean and the redwoods...

Hot today.... It would be much better doing the hikes here in the spring or summer but this is when I was stuck in the area. Pretty ordinary road/trail. Forgot my phone today. Hate not recording tracks... Going home to ocean and redwoods.

This was a nice short hike with just enough incline to work up a good sweat on a warm morning. Nice views of a pond and the rolling hills. Also ran into some wildlife such as cows (of course), rabbits, squirrels, and even a coyote! The coyote didn’t bother us though as it was munching on a squirrel as we passed by.

Breezy and busy on a sat. Nicer doing a trail up here early in the day. Don't expect to find much shade...

Beautiful place. I had to tell my girls don’t give up to get to the top of the hill. Once there it opened up and was beautiful. We saw a coyote, two eagles, tons of rabbits and squirrels. Great place to take the kids

Did this one before the other two trails and didn't hit the go button on the GPS at the beginning. I started left and it's at least a 1/2 mile hill and then just down the rest of the time. The big surprise for this area was a nice little pond with quite a few trees. This was the best of the 3 trails here for me but all would have been better in the spring or winter.

Winter or spring would be much better. All the trails here are fire trails or simply dirt roads. I got a call to do a honey-do and had to cut this one short after doing the other two... Surprised there were 10-15 people doing parts of the 3 trails here. All 3 are full sun hikes.

Best done anytime but summer. Brownout has occurred. It would be decent views if it wasn't for all the smoke from Ca fires around us. This is the mellowest of the 3 trails I did here today.

Hot. Dusty and amazing in July Will try again on an early morning

Not enough shade to do this when the temperatures are high. Laughlin loop was recently plowed, so there are dirt clods. Enough people are walking in the same path to tamp them down but not in all areas.

The beaten down paths are slippery in some areas, take caution and wear hiking shoes/boots or something that has a good grip on the tread.

Going to save this one for a winter hike when everything is green and the weather is cooler.

Had a fun time, 11yr old was able to do it just make sure you have water. Nice views.

Great breezy hike with nice views. I'll definitely do it again soon.

Busy trail with lots of people, bikes, kids, and dogs. A couple that was ahead of me allowed their large dogs to poop on the trail and didn't pick it up. Lots of dog poop on the trail. Yes, it may be in a cow pasture with all the other cow patties, but it's unsanitary to leave dog poop. One family was walking a pit bull off leash.

The trail itself is nice, but I suspect the lot of people are here because there is no charge to use the park. If you want solitude, this is not the place to come.

Difficult bike ride. Beautiful views.

It’s a good little hike with the family or dog. There’s not much shade, but the views of the rolling hills are good.

introduced to this amazing trail by my brother and uncle, and came right back for it! Several trails at this location. Not much shade,so bring a hat! it’s peaceful.

Nice little hike. I went when the hills were green. Pretty little lake there. Had to navigate around a cow on the trail

Went out around 430pm and had plenty of time to enjoy the views and watch the sun go down. Some amazing views of the hills and the city. I recommend going in the spring while everything is still green and vibrant.

Went on a hike Sunday with my friends.. It was perfect. We have done this trail in the past will again. ❤

Nice workout hike

Amazing Views! It was a nice breezy walk. Today was a perfect day to go hiking at brushy. The Rocks along the hillside and wild Life was a great vibe. Will be back soon!

great hike in spring with all the wild flowers, unless you have allergies! Beautiful views of the livermore valley year around.

nice trail for a sunny winter day. definite climb any way you go. well marked -open views. not a place to go if you want to hike in seclusion, but easy to get to

Nice place to to hike on a cool day. Interesting wildlife. keep your little dogs close lol.

Excellent trail except the few times cows block the way. Pats district did an amazing job rehabbing this trail after the bad winter a year ago.

we loved this trail. it's a good length to do with the dog and without needing too much of a pack - just some water.

Nice simple place to hike. Amazing and beautiful in the winter/spring but in the summer it's hot with little shade.
