Park is open 8am till dusk

Not enough shade to do this when the temperatures are high. Laughlin loop was recently plowed, so there are dirt clods. Enough people are walking in the same path to tamp them down but not in all areas.

The beaten down paths are slippery in some areas, take caution and wear hiking shoes/boots or something that has a good grip on the tread.

Going to save this one for a winter hike when everything is green and the weather is cooler.

Had a fun time, 11yr old was able to do it just make sure you have water. Nice views.

Great breezy hike with nice views. I'll definitely do it again soon.

Busy trail with lots of people, bikes, kids, and dogs. A couple that was ahead of me allowed their large dogs to poop on the trail and didn't pick it up. Lots of dog poop on the trail. Yes, it may be in a cow pasture with all the other cow patties, but it's unsanitary to leave dog poop. One family was walking a pit bull off leash.

The trail itself is nice, but I suspect the lot of people are here because there is no charge to use the park. If you want solitude, this is not the place to come.

MTbiking today with my cousin over here 11+ miles if you do the whole loop east to west ..great and quiet, too many snakes on summer but still good ride MODERATE ...it's the closest mountain to the Valley so,Definitely coming back...

Nice little hike. I went when the hills were green. Pretty little lake there. Had to navigate around a cow on the trail

Went out around 430pm and had plenty of time to enjoy the views and watch the sun go down. Some amazing views of the hills and the city. I recommend going in the spring while everything is still green and vibrant.

Went on a hike Sunday with my friends.. It was perfect. We have done this trail in the past will again. ❤

Nice workout hike

Amazing Views! It was a nice breezy walk. Today was a perfect day to go hiking at brushy. The Rocks along the hillside and wild Life was a great vibe. Will be back soon!

nice trail for a sunny winter day. definite climb any way you go. well marked -open views. not a place to go if you want to hike in seclusion, but easy to get to

Nice place to to hike on a cool day. Interesting wildlife. keep your little dogs close lol.

Excellent trail except the few times cows block the way. Pats district did an amazing job rehabbing this trail after the bad winter a year ago.

we loved this trail. it's a good length to do with the dog and without needing too much of a pack - just some water.

Nice simple place to hike. Amazing and beautiful in the winter/spring but in the summer it's hot with little shade.

Pretty fun MTB ride , better ride on winter . Summer time the heat and snakes may affect your ride or hike..beside that it's only 4.5 miles ride,
and it's close to the Valley..

Pretty hike with nice hill. Saw a coyote last time on it!

Great hike with varying terrain. Well worth your time.

A great local trail with a fair number of wildlife sightings. Would definitely do it again.

Nice well maintained trail in the area. Great valley views, peaceful. Truly enjoyed watching sunset from the trail.

Rolling hills, quiet park. Enjoyed with family for a nice walk and just to be outdoors

Nice hike, fun even for us beginners. Awesome view when you get to the top.

Trail was ok, not overly scenic. There is a rocky area that is nice. Lots of squirrels and large black beetle bugs crawling around. Was hoping to see a hawk or other large birds but only saw crows. Most of the trail was in the sun.

nice trail with 1k elevation.

Perfect place for a morning hike after a long break.

My go to local hike. Good elevation climb, not too agressive. There are several loops so you can tailor your hike to your needs. Maps are available at kiosk. Free parking/entry. Dog friendly. Cattle grazing in winter until early summer. Winter can be muddy and summer gets hot, plan accordingly.

Such beautiful views of Livermore and a great workout! Takes about an hour and a half all the way around, although I had a baby on my back and am pregnant, so I am sure many of you could do it faster than me.

Free parking and a great mix of hills and rocky paths and flatter parts as well.
