Contrary to what my recording indicates, I did not do a Wonder Woman jump off the top of the mountain haha! (lost gps signal) I appreciated this trail for the task at hand, which was a short workout hike with some hills. I'm not a huge fan of this kind of scenery (I definitely prefer hiking among trees) but its a good trail and overall pleasant hike. Close to home, easy to get to, obvious trailhead parking, overall clear pathways. However, the trails through these hills (Aldergate Park, I think it's called) are NOT marked and you won't find any paper maps or other clues about which is which. So pay attention to GPS...since there are several un-marked connecting trails in the area, its very easy to inadvertently wander on to a different route.

The defined trail is not the trail to take. So don't follow the service road trail...enter the bush to head up the hill.

Beautiful walk. Go early when it’s cool and you’ll lose yourself.

Okay hike for a quick one. Very steep. Sunset view is a little beyond the middle (see my recording...started at my scenic view.)

This is a very nice hike in the cooler months. But my favorite day to hike this is the Saturday evening before July 4 when menifee has it’s firework show!

Great hike, very challenging due to the elevation gain. There is no shade so put on sunscreen and maybe wear a hat. If you start on the right hand side, the first peak has a dead bird and a lot of feces, it looked creepy so we didn’t go all the way up that one, but the other two mountains are great! Wear hiking shoes!! There are a lot of rocks and a lot of soft sand. Overall great hike!

The trail was ok for a nice quick family hike. For context, my wife and I did it easily with a six year old, a four year old, carrying a two year old in an ergo, and a German Shepard. The incline is steep so get ready for a good leg workout. Would have rated this trail higher but there is not much of a view at the top unless seeing suburb upon suburb as far as the eye can see is your thing. Also, someone apparently broke glass on the trail about 2/3's the way up which cut my dog's feet so I'm pretty pissed about that.

great hike but someone knocked the cross down.
