Loved this trail: perfect combination with f the canyon and the foothills and their vistas of the mountains.

I loved this trail and esp when it switches to the Victor Trail at the end of the Palm Canyon Trail. The Victor Trail winds up into the hills with the most amazing vistas of the canyons. This hike is not to be missed!!

Wildflowers pretty much done for the season, still a nice hike winding up through rocks, cholla, and cactus. Stumbled upon a rattlesnake on the trail, but had no problem passing since it was busy with a chipmunk about 1/3 down its gullet.

Hiked this trail today, because of erosion and overgrown vegetation, some of the trail was hard to follow. Obviously doesn’t get used that much. No shade, take plenty of water. The views were great.

Kind of a rushed visit but it was great! Worth the entrance fee to see this beautiful land. Took a side hike up a trail to get a higher view and promise of spring wildflowers and was not disappointed. Glad I wore boots, the trail down into the canyon was a bit steep. Will head back and explore more trails in this area

Beautiful trail. Includes flat land, rocks, the creek, ultimately the oasis and breathtaking views. Not crowded for a Saturday morning :) take your time, take water, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and a little snack to have at the oasis. We started from the visitors center, walked up to the oasis and coming back, took the alternate route. The alternate route is more rocky with some inclines. Overall took about 2.5 hours for the total distance of 8k.

Great hike through palms and streams. Beautiful. It was sandy at times which was sometimes harder to hike through.

Great trail with half in the shade of large palms. One of the best short and easy hikes I’ve had the pleasure of using. Very much worth the $9/person

The Agua Caliente Reservation is one of our favorite areas to hike in the Palm Springs Area. Although there isn’t anything technically hard about this hike it is a long, steady, consistent uphill. Our lungs and heart were happy to reach the top. Our shins were happy to reach the bottom. At the sign for Jo Pond we went right down to the river. It’s a nice break to cool off. We started about 8am, had a little shade behind some rocks going up, but none going done. Bring water and sunscreen. The views are great, wild flowers were in full bloom when we went. It was very quiet and peaceful. Only saw a few other hikers.

Great hike along side stream and babbling water cascading down the hillside. If you link up with Victor trail it becomes 3.6 mile hike of moderate difficulty.

Trail is beautiful right now with the spring blooms. The meadow after the first rock oasis is unbelievable and I recommend after hitting this part you go back through it to rejoin the main Palm trail. The full loop isn’t as nice and you walk through a wash so the hike isn’t the best.

Best hike of the week. We’ve been hiking in the area for the last five days and this had been our favorite. The flowers are amazing right now and it’s a nice mellow climb to the top. Didn’t see a single other hiker. Highly recommend!!

Great trail! Started up and over Victor's loop then returned Palm Canyon. Moderate is accurate for Victors loop portion - especially running/scrambling much of way. Once in Palm Canyon, we sat in stream in the middle of massive boulders & mini waterfalls and iced legs.

Trail conditions are perfect now. Water levels make for easy stream crossings, wildflowers are everywhere and the cactus are blooming as well. We only saw one other group all day.

Just hiked this today - it’s a great moderate trail but the lower portion on the palm canyon trail before you actually hook up with the Victor trail has quite a bit of debris from the storm and we lost the trail a couple of times. Once you get onto the Victor trail loop however, you get some elevation as you climb to the ridge line for those spectacular views and the trail is high and dry. Currently there are two stream crossings and you will likely get wet feet if you’re not careful. All in all a very nice trail and well worth doing. Took us 90 minutes at a moderate pace.

Incredible hiking conditions! Colorful flowers blooming and even the cactus flowers were out. We kept going and did the full loop which is roughly 10 miles. there was a nice river flowing as well!

Currently closed due to storm damage in February. Check before you go.

Awesome hike! We ended up continuing past Vandeventer to Fern Canyon which looped back to the Trading Post, this added about an additional mile but the extra views were worth it. There’s some pretty steep switchbacks on this trail so be prepared for that. Also, this trail gets HOT, the temperature was in the mid 50’s the day we hiked but it felt more like the 70’s. I drained my 2.5L Camelback, be sure to take plenty of water.

Great trail, nice ridge views.
