Great Trail, both rugged rocks and Palm Canyon canopy with running spring water.

It's crowded and the trails are well worn. Nice setting but with low water it's not amazing.

Easy peasy great hike to get you going. Great weather in November not to hot just perfection. Started where the trail is to the left great incline in the beginning then leads down to the palms.

Beautiful scenery and very lightly trafficked. Saw 5 groups of people over 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Well marked and easy to follow trail. Lots of it is along sandy and gravelly wash.

There were three of hiking together and we all three enjoyed every minute of the hike. It took us longer then expected because we took so many pictures.

HikingGreat!

To say the Palm Canyon Trail is beautiful doesn't do it justice. This is an amazing canyon with plenty of shade from palm trees that grow like sentinels along the stream bed. The rock walls are amazing formations of cliff side fortresses that bare down on the hiker. We followed the Palm Canyon Trail to the Victor Trail intersection and followed the Victor Trail back to the Trading Post. The Victor Trail sponsors NO shade but the vistas are amazing with photo opportunities that would challenge the most professional photographer to capture the essence of the landscape. With high cliff vistas down into the Palm Canyon to distant snow cap peaks and Big Horn Sheep. This trail is enjoyable even for the casual hiker.

HikingFeeGreat!No shade

Nice hike, 6.3 miles round trip from the Trading Post to Stone Pools. The high temp today was 74 F. Any higher temp, this trail might be too hot. Once you leave Palm Canyon after 1 mile, there is no shade or water. Today there was no water at all in the Stone Pools. I would wait to do this hike until the temps are cooler and there is water in the pools. They are so much prettier when there is water in the creek.

Beautiful trail Some rocky areas A little bit of water flow surprisingly . A hot 96 degrees . I warned the tribe at the entrance they will be liable if someone collapses because of wearing a mask, which especially in 96 degrees, can happen easily. No virus of any kind will EVER spread in those conditions and anyone capable of hiking a strenuous trail in 96 degrees has a strong immune system thankfully. Grow up people . You're adults .

Great trail. Good condition. I did it clockwise. Last 1.5 miles were hiring but it was still well worth it!

Nice hike. Once you are a quarter of a mile away from the Trading Post you see very few people. Unfortunately they allow mountain bikers further away from the Trading Post and the trails are damaged as you expect. The tribe is doing a good job with COVID precautions. They even give you pamphlet with the mask requirements. That does not matter to some people however. They simply don’t put on a mask to protect others. They are just selfish people.

Nice hike. We started at the Trading Post. The ranger told us that the loop (without Victor trail) is 9 miles and takes five hours. It turns out that loop is 8.5 miles and we did it in 3 hours and 40 minutes. After lunch in the oasis we did a small loop up Palm Canyon trail and back on Victor for a grand total of 11 miles and still finished under 5 hours. On the West Fork loop we saw one person, on the Palm Canyon trail a few people (most not putting on a mask when passing on narrow trails).
