Great trail for a newer hiker. Took the family on this one. They got a little hot but did great. Will probably hike this one again. .

Fun trail for running with a lot of rock and root hopping. A single loop, as measured by the GPS on my Garmin Fenix 3 is 2.6 miles.

Beautiful easy to moderate hike. Actually is more like 3.5 miles. Shady all the way around and opportunity to see some wildlife.

Worth checking out if you’re at pinnacle state park!

I really enjoying doing this trail as a alternative to climbing up Pinnacle.

Lightly trafficked, good trail running. Can stay wet after some decent rain. Description says 4.9 mi but it’s logged at 6.5 +

Pretty easy hike. Beautiful views:)

Perfect trail for beautiful views of Pinnacle Mountain. I highly recommend taking this trail all the way to the east quarry trail.

Great! Beautiful views on the East Quarry spur along with some old yuccas, daffodils, summer snowflake, and prickly pear cactus!

It’s a nice local hike when in time crunch. Can stroll, run or fast walk this trail.

Beautiful views and nice trail. A few sections of the trail are pretty rocky, but other than that it’s great for trail running.

nice trail but surface is rocky, and if lots of leaves accumulate, the uneven surface can be unpredictable for little hikers. Hiking with 2 kids (6, 8 yr old) and they did the trail without much trouble, but there were a couple falls and minor bruises. Overall a good trail w rolling hills. We saw several trail runners on it. If starting at the West side trailhead (near the playground) and you go counter-clockwise the trail markers count down from 28 to 1.

Good hiking path. Relatively smooth without a lot of rocks. Woods only view.

1st hiking trip. loved climbing to top of cliff. will bring paddle boat next time.

I really enjoyed this trail. Great for an evening hike and plenty challenging for an Okie who isn't used to rocks and hills. Will definitely be back.

Love this trail for running.

What a great trail! It's easy enough for most to complete but there are some extended hill climbs that may be difficult for some. The views are awesome!

A great relaxing hike after doing the summit trail. The summit trail was crowded but I only ran into a few people on the base loop. The trail is well marked in most places but several times the marks had vanished and I was wondering if I was still on the trail or on a dry stream bed. The nature views are great but skip this one if you're seeking isolation. It's too close to highways in some parts and you can hear the traffic flying by. All in all, a nice hike over somewhat rocky terrain that I'll absolutely do again.

Easy, paved trail - amazing cypress trees like I've never seen before.

Fairly flat. Goes all the way around the base of Pinnacle Mountain. Good hike to get away from the crowds on the summit trails. Good wildflower viewing in spring. Suburban location ensures civilization (roads, buildings, power lines, etc.) is in sight everywhere.

Great hike if you can go when it's not busy. My German Sheppard seemed to enjoy it too.

Love this trail - good views, great forest, and good work out.

steep at times, but able to keep a brisk pace. do plan on going back

Great place! Went here yesterday with my mom for my 21st birthday! Had awesome hike with very few people on the trail! Took us about hour and half to do the hike, but you can do it in less time because we stop and went of trail to look at the lake. I will be going again when I'm back in town.
