great for beginners

Still love it... well maintained, well worn tracks. Pay attention to the markers.

Another great hike on Pigeon Trail East. 60 degrees and rain forecast made it even better, didn’t get wet. Love this trail, very well maintained by the Mountain Bike group TTONCA.

I liked it very much.. my first time on the Pigeon Creek Trails west side of Hwy 201. Use the parking on east side of 201 as it is more visible and safe (in my opinion). Follow the color coded trail markers and signs and you can get in some good mountain biking and hiking. Trails are well kept, a few small blowdowns and loose rocks but all in all it was great, hiked all of it in the shade.

My first time at Pigeon Creek, what a treat! By chance I met the creator of most of the bike trails in the area, including Richard “Zep” from Bakersfield. Loved the hike, took the upper Pigeon Trail and the Lower on the return. Trails well marked but a little confusing at few junctions, which needed better markings. All in all I loved it, will come back.

the trail is a very nice one and not too difficult, as long as you're fine with the hundreds of spiders you'll need to clear before being able to walk... not enjoyable at all.. which is a pity as its a great environment.

The trails are not too difficult and some decent scenery to look at but they are not marked well at all. It's easy to get off on another trail without even realizing it.

Could be marked better.Got a little confused about where we were on trail a couple times

We have hiked this trail many times and love it! Some of the terrain can be ruff depending on what loops you take. That being said I was able to hike with our 1 year old in a carrier on my back so I would say that it’s a fairly easy trail. We did take our dog and he got covered in ticks so make sure you spray down. It’s a beautiful and peaceful hike to spend a few hours on. We have seen deer, squirrels, and armadillo.

Excellent, sprawling loop network, popular with both hikers and mountain bicyclists. Easy to make wrong turns, lake views and variety of terrain. The spiders hang over Ozarks trails in September, are harmless, but can be unsettling.

Pleasant easy stroll through tall pines and a creek arm of Lake Norfork. Old mine located along the spur trail leading up lake.

Very fun hike with a beautiful view. has many different sidetrails so you can spend quite a bit of time here.

Casual trail for an easy, pleasant outing. Please, be cautious of mountain bikers so that they, and you, stay safe.

Fairly easy trails, but not marked well at all. The colors are repeated and the trails split constantly creating great confusion. Some parts are grown up and the trails are loaded with spiders, grasshoppers and ticks. Do not recommend for dogs for this reason. No views just lots of trees and complicated trails. Be prepared to wander through the woods for a while.

This is a fun trail when we just want a hour or so walk. This is one we go on about once a week.

Good hike, Easy but you have to watch your footing as the trail is very rocky., so that , to me , makes it a moderate hike.Well maintained otherwise. The map provided is a bit confusing in spots. As we are on point, all of a sudden we look at our progress and we are off course but still on the trail. And we hadn't passed an intersection to get off course.

A good trail. Mostly well-maintained. Rock-o-rama in places, leading to some tricky climbs. Not for novice MTBers unless you want to get off and push for 20% of your ride. Seems better suited for hiking, but more confident bikers will get a good 60-90 minute ride. Trailheads are not the most obvious and the Google Map result through AllTrails is slightly off. Turn off the highway at the Pigeon Creek Lake Access sign and first trailhead is on the left, opposite the first boat ramp.

Easy to moderate trails we hiked the 104 105 and 106 trails for 5 miles. The trails were not really well marked but not hard to follow if you have a map. Great views of Norfork Lake. There are many trails in this public use area so you could vary the length.

Great trail system. Some markers hard to find but met a lady who was a local and was going to work on markers. We were there on a Sunday and saw only 4 others. Very peaceful. We would consider trails easy for what others we have hiked, not much incline or decline.

Great trail system. Well marked. Always lots of wildlife. There are numerous low hanging branches, no concern to hikers but MTB will need to be aware.

Great trail, with lots of geocaches. Several views of the lake. There is a beautiful view with a bench, where I spent a lot of time.

Nice trail would not recommend doing it on the weekend since it is a bike trail and the one Sunday that I walked it there were several bikers.
