Great hike! In the dead of summer there is still water flowing. I bet this would be awesome in the fall

The most well-marked trail I’ve ever been on. Great hike. My fav in Arkansas, so far. Creeks were pretty dry. I’ll definitely go back in Fall and Winter.

My favorite hike in Arkansas. Absolutely love Petit Jean.

Have to sign in at the visitor’s center first. Trail is 8mi without Seven Hollows Loop (4mi extra), and 12mi with Seven Hollows Loop. Very well taken care of and beautiful. Turtle rocks are NOT on the Seven Hollows Loop, despite what signs say. Not many ticks, even in June. Junctions can be tricky but AllTrails map keeps you on track

Trail is in good shape. Reported a group of trees that are blocking the trail near the Blue Hole. Also posted a couple pictures showing them. Not too difficult to climb under/over them. Next time I'll head south on the Seven Hollows trail and add some mileage. RunKeeper showed 7.73 for me.

Nicely marked trail! We took our almost 10 and 11-year-old daughters. Plenty of shade to rest along the way. The Grotto was fun-tons of tadpoles and crawdads today. We wore tennis shoes and Chacos. The running water along the way was refreshing to walk through as it was a hot day. Take plenty of water to drink, maybe some snacks since it is a 4.5 mile hike. Most importantly, enjoy the fun!

Google map to get here was spot on. Good parking . Well marked trail. Not a true swimming hole at the waterfall , which is marked as Ghrotto . Mostly shady but open spots along rocks . Overall a lot of cool things along this trail to see and explore . All ages from 9 -36 years old had a good time

This was an easy trail to start, then got moderate, then went close to hard. We took the path at the fork to the natural bridge. It was great. Between the bridge & the grotto was a lot more rocky climbing. Did NOT get to go to the grotto because of steep rock drop off on the trail. It looked to be 5 or 6 ft down. I’m only 5’3”, a novice hiker, so I didn’t want to risk injury. Plus, I’m 68. Bones aren’t what they used to be. I was very disappointed not to get to go to the grotto when moving a few rocks over there would have made a step down safer to continue on and be able to see the grotto. Continuing forward, The trail between the grotto and back to the fork is one of the prettiest I’ve seen in caves, overhangs, creeks, streams, canyon walls, rock formations, etc.

Beautiful trail, pictures don’t do any justice! Bridge is marked off and trail is closed to COVID 19 but seen multiple people on trail.

Absolutely gorgeous and very easy trail. A lot of small waterfalls and several gorgeous creek areas. Serene and majestic. Please do this hike. It’s worth it!

This trail was a lot of fun. NOTE: Do not miss the grotto. It is 2.5 miles into the trail and apparently Grotto means waterfall on this trail. There aren’t a lot of great views outside of the waterfall but it’s well worth it. I have hiked a lot of moderate trails and this is by far the most difficult. I would say this should have been rated as difficult.

Love this trail! Perfect little waterfalls after rain fall, loops around, cross the bridge to the left and you can see the over look of the big cedar falls waterfall. Open trail.

This is well over a moderate trail I would say it’s more towards experienced side. Took us way longer than it should have got stuck in a rain shower and got turned around. Very pretty but don’t think I will do this whole trail again.

This is the most beautiful trail with many waterfalls and rock formations. We went on a day after a big rain and the water was moving quickly. Wear good shoes and take a hiking pole because the rocks are slippery. It isn’t an easy hike but so worth it.
