I’ve done this hike twice now and even in low water it’s still beautiful. Easy short hike!

The water was mostly dried up when I went, so the hike was more exercise than site seeing.

I love this place. Super short hike through the woods to beautiful rock formations and stunning views. Great place to explore and sit and enjoy the vistas.

Was difficult to find. The All Trails map takes you right there - but there’s no sign. Across the street, there’s a small driveway that goes to a camp site on the river. If you are leaving that driveway, go right 20 yards, and left there is the word “Locate” spraypainted in white letters. Right there is the trail. Took me all but 40 mins round trip. Water was dripping but low. It’s a difficult hike towards the very end climbing over boulders and rocks but kind of cool

Neat rock formations and fun to check out the base of the bluffs. Better views on other bluff hikes. A lot of the hike is in the woods.

Hard to find trail head...but I liked that because it kept the traffic down....we didn’t make it to the end, but as pretty geology as I’ve been around in AR

Absolutely stunning trail with some unbelievably beautiful areas to explore and photograph. I cannot recommend this trail highly enough and I greatly encourage any and everyone to make this trip. The pedestals and caves that are off the main path are well worth exploring and truly awesome. ***WARNING: there are side trails that are extreme perilous for young adults and children that are unfamiliar with the area; some holes in the rocks have plummets of well over 100ft, so take extreme caution when hiking around these areas.*** We hiked this trail and the accompanying nearby King's Bluff loop (see review for that trail, too) and absolutely adored it. Despite the few ticks that were pulled off the next day, it was well worth it. 5/5 stars, easy.

Not a bad trail, but I found two ticks crawling around on me later in the day.

Very easy trail. Not marked very well. The best thing is the views. Just beautiful.

Great fall! Steep trail but easy to follow. Take the second trail from the culvert.

This trail is a very scenic and is suitable for all ages. The trail is well kept and is easily navigated. There are anchors along the rock face with plenty of routes for rock climbing. Be sure to climb to the peak of Sam's Throne where the view is outstanding.

One of the most scenic hikes I have been on. This is one of my FAVORITE!!

Great trail. Lots of areas to explore below the main trail once you get near the pedestal rocks including caves and natural springs. Will definitely be coming back

Beautiful views along this quiet trail in mid-March. The marked trail includes a descent down a fairly steep pass, however there is a slightly longer, hike around the bluff that meets with a wide path that takes you down into the valley leading to Sams Throne.

Another amazing AR hike! The views here were outstanding, especially since we went at the peak of fall. We had a couple people show us how to hike all along the upper part of the bluff, and found one spot to climb down and check out the underneath portion. IMO the upper part is the best part though! Will definitely come back!

The hike was good and not too hard! The rocks are amazing. There’s a cave system underneath the trail too that is worth spending time looking through. Beautiful!

This was a great well marked trail. When you get near the falls you can hug the wall on left and climb through a slightly dark area to the falls or you can go straight across the rocky area towards the falls and both places will bring you right up to the falls. The fall was amazing and so worth the trip. You can even go under it with lots of room. Its high cliffs above make a dome around it. We saw a bat flying around so be sure and germ x after you leave.

Nice trail a little wet in areas but good water falls and river due to recent heavy rains. Gotta watch your footing as a lot of loose rocks and stones. Well worth the extra climb to get behind the falls.

Awesome Hike, Beautiful Views

Beautiful hike in a secluded area!! Once we finally found our way to the trail, we loved every minute of it. There are amazing rock structures, a crystal clear creek, lots of pine trees and gorgeous views. We were not disappointed! The trail itself was not very difficult but it was tough to locate the trailhead. Once you get to the parking area described by others, you will walk down what looks like an atv trail and look for the trail to go off to the right (up a hill). We missed it but eventually found our way. If we had been looking at the app, we probably wouldn’t have missed it. The trail is not marked well at all but occasionally you will see blue tape tied to trees showing the general direction.

We drove from Springfield, Missouri just to find THE tree!! It was SO worth the drive.

Wonderful, beautiful, scenic trail! Great for beginners and kid-friendly. Love this trail!

More difficult than you would expect. Did it during winter and the snow made it all the better

Lots to explore, beautiful area!

Went with my children over thanksgiving break. The trail was easy enough for them, ages 6 & 8. It was difficult to find the trailhead as it is not well marked at all. It was dry when we went so the waterfall was small, but the rocks were fun to climb on.

Beautiful vistas. Easy hike. Lots to explore. A rappellers dream.

Awesome hike with lots of caves and crevasses to explore. And rick formations to climb on. Will definitely go back again.
