Fantastic moderate hike. The trail is clearly marked and easy to keep track of. Which is great, because you really need to mind your footing with all the loose and embedded rocks. The overlook is fantastic. There’s a second ledge a bit past the first, so you can get some great pictures if you are hiking with a partner. This trail also offered several nice stopping points to take a break or grab some water. Easily one of my favorites in NWA.

This trail was intense. Pretty difficult. I did it as an overnight. It has some very beautiful spots along the way but the rocky terrain chewed my feet up. Make you have good boots that fit well. Junction camp is not easy to find. Stay at rock hole. It’s nice there in the evening. I shared part of the creek that night with a beaver. He was chill, though. It’s pretty dry out there right now, which was a bummer. Looking forward to doing this trail again in the fall.

Loved! Had lunch at the last overlook. We went and it was super hot, but shaded so still bearable. Nice to tag on after the Devils Den Trail.

We loved it! A little difficult to navigate due to not being marked really well at certain starting points and turns, but getting turned around isn’t that big of a deal - we still saw everything.
Loved the caves (closed but cool to see), loved the low-temp crevices, and the rock formations were beautiful all over. A nice easy hike to start off the day.
We took this trail straight to the Yellow Rock Trail.

views from the top were amazing, it got a little confusing towards the end where the trail wasn't marked well where a wooden bridge was blocked off. Amazing view of the valley!

Beautiful little trail, lots a of great photo ops, good first trail when you get to the park

We did this as an overnight hike in october.
Started the hike from the walk in campsite in devils den and ended at the suspension bridge. Ran into a few large groups and two other couples. lots of ups and downs. very enjoyable hike although the heat and humidity on the first day was awful. lots of fun little stopping points at the beginning of the hike.

Quick hike before church this morning.

I’ve done it as a day hike and as a 3 day backpacking trek and both were enjoyable. The trail is well marked in most places, but you’ll probably miss a turn and a couple hundred yards to your total somewhere. Pretty in most areas, Quaill Valley is outright beautiful. Watch out for ticks and poison ivy though, they’re plentiful in summer months. The BHT is wonderfully rugged and not always close to water, so bring extra and/or a water filter or purifier of some kind. Cell service is blessedly limited as well, so be sure to fill out the required (free) permit at the ranger station before going.

For Boy Scouts, there is a trail patch available through the West Arkansas Council. See their website for details.

Such a beautiful trail! Little longer and more strenuous than the Devils Den trail nearby. The overlook is breathtaking! After the overlook, KEEP GOING! The trail continues and it is absolutely beautiful but so many people just turn around at the overlook and go back. You are robbing yourself of some serene Ozark beauty if you turn around!

Excellent hike that at a modest pace, even my 70yr old father in law was able to do. Ice box was especially interesting (and refreshing) on a hot day.

Good for backpacking trip but not normal hiking

Fun, easy trail! Waterfalls were beautiful. Too bad the caves were closed.

Trail was moderately difficult with lots of rock steps. Very pet friendly. The scenic overlook was gorgeous, and well worth the hike!! There were no maps posted on the trailheads, so that is something that could be improved upon by park staff. Overall, great trail!

Super easy. Great view

I had great ride. first time on trail. some water on trail due to recent rain, but it made it fun and challenging ride for me. Didnt realize I would have to wade across river twice, about knee deep on may 5th.

Scenic views, rocky terrain, surrounded by trees...it was quite enjoyable!

Loved this hike. It's short but sweet and steep. About a mile total (out and back). It isn't marked so if you don't know it's there, you'd drive right by it. So cool to see the Moonshiner's Cave!

Kristen and I hiked this clockwise from suspension bridge 15 miles in exactly 6 hours. Including a wonderful stop at rock creek camp for lunch and feet in the water. Good hike. Some elevation change but not like Colorado. Saw 2 beautiful white tail deer. Many creeks and streams were running. We enjoyed seeing waterfalls and cliffs and mini caves. Lots of variation. Suspension bridge was a cool start. I would like to hike more in this area. Did see 1 large black snake at the beginning of hike but thankfully no others. Dogwood blooms were so lovely throughout the hike

Well kept trails and plenty of places to camp. You will need an extra set of shoes to cross Lee Creek.

We failed to get a trail map and think we missed the waterfall. Otherwise it was a beautiful trail for two seniors.

Great rock formations and the dogwoods are blooming so the woods are really beautiful. Lots of water running and beautiful views from the bluffs. Nice little hill to start out, but the rest of the trail is easy.

Really liked the trail but it was poorly marked and confusing so I missed a loop.
