I wouldn't categorize this as a moderate trail. I felt it was more of an easy trail.

Nice trail, some great views of the lake and it was relatively flat. A breeze for my 10 year old and not too challenging with my toddler strapped to my back, either. Would definitely recommend, but get out there early in summer months because it was HOT
