Nice and short, took our dogs for a walk, not a soul out but it’s next to a lodge so I imagine it’s pretty crowded in the warmer months.

Short and simple.

Wonderful and well-kept trail near the DeGray Lake state park resort. We saw at least two eagles flying over in late November 2016. Mostly flat and great for kids.

Nice and easy trail in DeGray Lake state park. Mostly flat and offers plenty of opportunities to see birds. At the bird observation shelter, we saw lots of birds in the lake. Great trail for kids.

Nice little trail in DeGray Lake state park. Trail loops through a pine forest along the DeGray Lake shore. Great for kids.

I found this trail to be very interesting. Although not particularly scenic compared to other trails in DeGray Lake state park, the history behind this trail fascinates me. The trail follows an old narrow gauge railroad used during logging operations over 100 years ago. It is a nice short walk in the woods.

Very nice trail that wanders through a forest at the western edge of DeGray Lake Resort State Park. This trail is rockier than any other trail at this state park and probably has the most elevation change. That being said, the trail is not very difficult and is a nice walk in the woods.

Nice leisurely walk around the peninsula. Pretty even level and the furthest point juts out into the water for a nice view. A couple of interesting trees to see on the hike as well. Better to go on a little earlier in the fall than we did this time.

The trail was nice, but we went at noon in August so it was blazing hot. BUT the point in the middle of trail looks like it would be awesome at sunset. The walk was alright, definitely not very strenuous.

Super easy loop located in Lake DeGray. It was my first trail and was so easy and pleasant I circled it 3 times within an hour. If you're close, it's a nice trail with a couple access points to the lake for the kids or dog. If you're looking to test the waters, or test the waters with your kids or dog, this is a decent trail to start. Plus there's a playground at the lodge, so after the hike, the kids can play.

Well kept easy short trail with a nice little bird-viewing station about half-way through. Runs along the lake for plenty of nice landscape views. I have a son in a walking boot when we did this trail and he did it with no problem.
