This trail is pretty awesome and difficult in the sense that you have to pay attention to where you're stepping all the time. Some parts were a bit difficult to maneuver and I didn't even attempt climbing the rope at the end ,but my boyfriend made it up to the top. We went on a Tuesday in September and we were the only ones on the trail the whole time. Keeping that in mind, there are a lot of spider webs when you're the only one on the trail. We will be returning to this trail as it was very interesting.

Maybe because my expectations weren't high but I ended up loving this trail. It has a beautiful natural bridge, waterfall and cave. Would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing views that are well worth it. Bring lots of water! I logged 14 miles the first day just doing this trail and bouncing around various river trails. Save some energy and water for the hike back!!!! It’s all uphill and seems to never end. Loved this trail.

We hiked up to the top of Eden Falls and ventured into cave! If you want to crawl into the cave, bring a head lamp. There wasn’t much water flowing out which kept us dry. There is a spot where you have to crawl/get very low. If you are able, do it! The cave and hike to it, are not kid friendly. The hike to Eden Falls is kid friendly. The trail has been washed out in some spots but still very easily accessible.

Just spent 3 days in the area. Trail is moderate to the Bluffs. However, from the top of the Goat trail, Centerpoint trail becomes difficult heading down to ORT. Bluffs are beautiful. There’s even a cave big enough for a small tent in the Bluff.

Absolutely amazing view. 350’ above the Buffalo National River.

Absolutely stunning views from the top of Big Bluff. I stayed in a cave off the side of the cliff. Had to take my pack off a few times, but the trail continues on where it looks like it stops. There are several caves to camp out in. The hike back was uphill almost the entire way. Well worth it though. One of my favorite trips, hands down.

Awesome kayaking trip. Two nights prior, I camped out in a cave on Big Bluff, whose views were spectacular. You could see it from the river on the way to Kyle’s Landing. Big Bluff is around 500 ft up, I believe.

We were very pleased with this trail. It starts out so simple but there is so much to enjoy all along the way. We took more pictures on this one trail than we have two whole days being in the Ozarks! Even with all of the people that we saw, and barely any water in Eden Falls, it was still our favorite! Take a flashlight so you can enjoy the cave at the end.

Worth it!

I'm only giving it a four star rating (and not a 5) because it is ALL up hill on the way back!!! I know.... I was warned, but I went (for the second time) on a very warm day; that was not the best idea. Love this trail and the bluff. I is easy to navigate without getting lost which is always a plus for me. I enjoy myself a lot more when I'm not too worried about taking a wrong turn.

Hiking on Sept 29, 2018.. very nice hike! The creek is cool and so is Shaddox cabin.. even though it’s close to 80 degrees it’s pretty cool.. lots of shade

Very underrated trail. Enjoyed this so much more than centerpoint to goat trail. Something to see and explore all along the way. Would be great for kids. Beware of snakes. Almost stepped on a copperhead in the first mile.

Great trail. A couple of cool caves and waterfalls, probably awesome after adequate rainfall but still cool today nevertheless.

Such a beautiful trail!

We enjoyed Centerpoint to Goat Trail. The views were amazing. The hike out is uphill like everyone says. We were exhausted from a full day’s hike connecting other trails.

We hiked over to Sneed’s Creek, and cut through to Hemmed in Hallow. Made for a great day trip. We drank about 3 liters of water each for the whole day. It’s was overcast and misty though, we might would have needed more had it been sunny and hot. There are also man made campsites (clearings) along the way of each trail we encountered. All around a great area to spend a weekend.

Easy hike more of a walk except for the stairs at the end. Beautiful falls when flowing.

I hiked this trail and completed back in 2008 I didn’t remember it being as rough as it is. The group I was with had 4 adults and 11 children ranging from 1-14 YO. It is probably be most beautiful trail I have hiked in Arkansas. We were unable to complete it as we came to a point that we felt was just too risky attempt with the children. I personally feel like we lost the trail. I hope to get attempt this again with my children so they can enjoy the scenic views at the end.

By far one of the best trails in Arkansas. The trail is maintained and there are so many cool sights. Waterfalls if recent rain. River/creek runs beside the trail. Cave at the end. And more. Just do it!!

love this trail..get to explore inside the cave with a waterfalls...nature is just magical.

hike going to goat trail is so worth it!..take your time going back coz it be uphill mostly but you can do it.

We liked this one, but if river levels are low there is not much to see.
The trailhead is very poorly marked with virtually no parking lot, so just beware as you arrive. No bathrooms at trailhead.

Amazing! Starts out simple then gets a bit more interesting quickly. Make sure you check river levels- it’s cool to see no matter what level, but you can adjust your expectations. The caves and waterfall are incredible. Great icebox to hang out in and cool down.
