This trail is pretty awesome and difficult in the sense that you have to pay attention to where you're stepping all the time. Some parts were a bit difficult to maneuver and I didn't even attempt climbing the rope at the end ,but my boyfriend made it up to the top. We went on a Tuesday in September and we were the only ones on the trail the whole time. Keeping that in mind, there are a lot of spider webs when you're the only one on the trail. We will be returning to this trail as it was very interesting.

Maybe because my expectations weren't high but I ended up loving this trail. It has a beautiful natural bridge, waterfall and cave. Would return in a heartbeat.

We hiked up to the top of Eden Falls and ventured into cave! If you want to crawl into the cave, bring a head lamp. There wasn’t much water flowing out which kept us dry. There is a spot where you have to crawl/get very low. If you are able, do it! The cave and hike to it, are not kid friendly. The hike to Eden Falls is kid friendly. The trail has been washed out in some spots but still very easily accessible.

As a novice hiker, this was an awesome experience for me. Starting with the ranger who warned me to bring plenty of water because of the uphill return, to the lovely solitude of the light rain after leaving the quarry, the trail was an amazing experience for me. I’ll definitely be back.

As a novice who is also an old guy, I did have a few reservations on the way out as to whether I was still on trail because the blazes were a little sparse. But the trail itself was visible throughout, and the blazes were more numerous on the return. The fall color is just beginning, and I am wishing I could get back here in a couple weeks.

It was a nice hike with my kiddos. Definitely going to go back again!

Great trail. Rockshelter is amazing.

We were very pleased with this trail. It starts out so simple but there is so much to enjoy all along the way. We took more pictures on this one trail than we have two whole days being in the Ozarks! Even with all of the people that we saw, and barely any water in Eden Falls, it was still our favorite! Take a flashlight so you can enjoy the cave at the end.

Hiking on Sept 29, 2018.. very nice hike! The creek is cool and so is Shaddox cabin.. even though it’s close to 80 degrees it’s pretty cool.. lots of shade

Very underrated trail. Enjoyed this so much more than centerpoint to goat trail. Something to see and explore all along the way. Would be great for kids. Beware of snakes. Almost stepped on a copperhead in the first mile.

Great trail. A couple of cool caves and waterfalls, probably awesome after adequate rainfall but still cool today nevertheless.

Such a beautiful trail!

Easy hike more of a walk except for the stairs at the end. Beautiful falls when flowing.

I hiked this trail and completed back in 2008 I didn’t remember it being as rough as it is. The group I was with had 4 adults and 11 children ranging from 1-14 YO. It is probably be most beautiful trail I have hiked in Arkansas. We were unable to complete it as we came to a point that we felt was just too risky attempt with the children. I personally feel like we lost the trail. I hope to get attempt this again with my children so they can enjoy the scenic views at the end.

By far one of the best trails in Arkansas. The trail is maintained and there are so many cool sights. Waterfalls if recent rain. River/creek runs beside the trail. Cave at the end. And more. Just do it!!

love this trail..get to explore inside the cave with a waterfalls...nature is just magical.

We liked this one, but if river levels are low there is not much to see.
The trailhead is very poorly marked with virtually no parking lot, so just beware as you arrive. No bathrooms at trailhead.

Amazing! Starts out simple then gets a bit more interesting quickly. Make sure you check river levels- it’s cool to see no matter what level, but you can adjust your expectations. The caves and waterfall are incredible. Great icebox to hang out in and cool down.

This is such an amazing Trail. I absolutely loved squat walking to get into the cave that had the hidden waterfall. Nature is so magical!

Me and my boyfriend completed this hike on 8/17. The area had heavy rainfall for 3 or 4 days prior so the falls were gorgeous! It is definitely one of the most challenging hikes we have done but it was well worth it. As previous reviews have mentioned, I don’t recommend bringing your kids or dogs, everything was extremely slick (may have been from all of the rain) and the paths were narrow and primitive. There are several little falls along the river but the eye of the needle is at the very end with a large fall coming out of the cave. The ropes up to the eye are well maintained but it’s still pretty steep and not for the faint of heart. Just be very cautious if you choose to go. Looking forward to hiking it again in the fall!

the family loved this trail. it wasnt too difficult for my 7 yr old and the area is awesome.

Great little hike. The beginning was a little boring but the falls were a spectacle to see. Also the cave was a little creepy as it was getting dark later in the evening.

Round trip: 3miles
Elevation gain: 846ft
Time: 1hr 5min

been here once, talk about beautiful!

Very easy hike and lots of cool things to see, you have to go into the cave at the very end!

The trail was really challenging for us as we are beginners but was worth it.

We LOVED this trail! My 11yr old son and I did this hike on a Monday and it wasn't crowded at all. This trail has so much to explore along the way. The natural bridge, large rock shelter, waterfall (just a trickle currently), and the cave were all fun. I had read reviews previously so we came prepared to explore the cave with headlamps and flashlights. Explored far enough back that we were very cramped and then squeezed into a little tunnel where we could stand up that led back out. There was also a very large "room" just to the left when you enter the cave. As others mentioned, the rocks around and in the cave are slick so be cautious. Overall, a very cool trail and one that I would love to do again if I'm back in the area. I think we spent about an hour and a half doing the whole trail.

Attempted to make a 2 mike hike in and set up for the night but had to get hundreds of deer ticks off immediately after stopping to set up. Not exactly the trails fault but I don’t think it is traveled enough for there to not be a problem with ticks. Had good hills right away which seemed very promising!
