Great trail! it starts off very easy and is not surrounded by so much nature BUT it switches pretty fast to an experience from another world!

Will definitely be back! Tons of shade, close to town, can do a long or short hike. Bathrooms available at the beginning. A lot of parking available.

Nice trail. Lots of construction noise. Trails need to be marked a little more clearly. There was a few times I wasn’t sure which way to go. Lots of deep bicycle tracks on trail.

The first mile of the trail was extremely muddy since the surface is mostly dirt not rock due to rain that morning. It's a nice out and back loop that doesn't repeat too much.

Fun bit of time outside but definitely still kind of in the suburbs. Seems to be more of a mountain bike trail but still a fun outing.

Didn’t do all of Butterfield - but will go back to complete!

Loved the scenery on this trail. Especially Coyote Cave. Will go back and do Best Trail Ever and complete Butterfield

I planned this hike not knowing it was a mountain bike trail. It definately is a destination Mountain bike system with more trails than this one located here. OK to hike but I wouldn't do it on the weekends. It has to be crazy busy with mountain bikers on the weekend.
