We really enjoyed the hike. Challenging toward the top and not that crowded during the week. Will defiantly go back!

not one of the prettiest trails in the Superstitions.

Great hike yesterday and beat the rain! Too cloudy for the sunrise, but beautiful fall weather!

View from the top is worth the wait! It was a great hike

This is a decent hike. I did it with 3 kids under 8 and they did it easily. Had a great time at the top with a little break and some wildlife.

This is one of my favorite trails. Great for dogs and kids

This was a good easy hike. The day was clear and beautiful.

Really solid hike. Good workout, beautiful views. Not much parking on weekends, it gets busy.

Extremely fun hike especially after the maintained trail ends. There are spray painted markers beyond that point.

I did this in my 3\4ton extended cab short box Chevy 2" lift and 33's wasn't too bad didn't bottom out at all. I took the FR10 trail after a rainstorm no mud it was almost pure rock, very bumpy. Not much for views.

Great little hike (just wish the trail really went up all the way up). Once arrived that the trail end, you can keep on going (as mentioned here) ... but the trail is really hard to see. Just be carefull about getting lost. This trail is kid friendly and really doesn't have any rock climbing - there really isn't much to it, but still gives a great view of the valley.
Note: instead of paying the entrance each time, ask about the coupon book - will save money.

It seemed like the trail was washed away from the rains of monsoon season. We got a mile into the trail and seemed to get turned around and could t stay in the trail even with the maps help. We decided to call it and head out. Frustrated as it was a beautiful morning on the second day of fall.

Friend I just drove this, coming in the day after a big rainstorm. No mud at all, but also no dust. We were both in Toyota Tacoma’s—mine which is a 4x4 and his which a 2WD (although it does have rear locker). Couple parts where you need the right line and to take it slow but neither of us needed to use my trucks 4WD.

Great hike. We are beginners and couldn’t make it all the way to the top...elevation was the challenge for us. Great views and we will be back to try again when cooler!

Great Morning Birthday Hike on 9-7-2018 with my friend Enas! One of my favorites! Helped out a fellow female hiker with a bottle of water and some snacks. Safety First Peeps!!!

This is a easy trail, it can be intimidating to a brand new hiker to get all the way to the top but once you’ve done it a few times, it’s a cake walk!

Good hike pleasant view at the finish. Not unusual to see a snake.

Such a short but great trail to ease into hiking with my little guy! He loved it. Great views as well!

Easy to moderate trail. Girlfriend and I had no issues getting up or down. Virtually no shade until you get close to the mountain. Trail is well maintained and path easily identified. Up and down in a little less than two hours.

Just ran this trail yesterday in a stock 2001 Grand Cherokee. This is not an easy trail unless you’re in a lifted rig with big tires and even then its a challenge. (I need to note that it had stormed hard the night before and the entire trail was heavy mud and rock down in the washes) The scenery is awesome, way better than I expected. We entered the trail from the Usery Pass gate and finished at the Apache Trail exit. I probably won’t run this trail again after heavy rain until I get a lift and some skid plates. In dry conditions it's probably a moderate trail.

I really liked this hike. Not strenuous yet still got a good workout in. The views of all the different species of cacti were awesome. Went around 730ish and the mountain kept the sun behind it so it was shaded and breezy the entire way up! Very nice to have cool air hitting you on a trail especially in AZ! Trail is pretty well marked and is fun to follow. Kicked a stray cactus into my leg so be careful of anything laying on the ground ha!

Felt longer than it was, a little challenging but definitely doable for even my 3 year old who is a champ! Bringing enough water is key, really for all hikes but this one for sure. View from the top made it all worth it and looking back at the accomplishment once we were back down is uplifting :)

took my DRZ out for a first time ever off road ride. This trail (I took 10 and 3554 entirely) was quite a workout! I would put this as an above average start for someone who hasn't been off road but knows the basics of riding and has been on road for a while. the DRZ handled it just fine and the views were spectacular. if anything, I'd do it again just for the view! for now, I may try to find something a bit more beginning friendly for my second ride. pretty sore after this one. great trail though!

This trail is what you would expect. Its fairly easy however there is a small portion on the mountain itself that is slightly difficult, but beginners would still be okay. This is a personal preference but I hated that it was almost a mile to the actual hike, the hike itself, then another 'almost mile' back out. This trail is 3/4 desert walking (very little shade) and 1/4 hike.

Nice and easy trail for July. Views of Pass Mountain, with Four Peaks and the fountain of Fountain Hills in the distance. Probably only 3 stars in the winter - too short and flat for me then.

Good hike with kids. As with all AZ hikes, bring water! There were bees at the summit when I was there so watch out. The "caves" aren't really caves. But its fun anyway.

Fun trail! Not a moderate hike in my opinion, more on that easier side. There is a gate entry fee of $7.
