Great trail. Get out early as the sun hits most of the trail.

Honestly one of my favorite hikes. The view is fantastic and it’s a tremendously beautiful trail. Great workout but not overwhelming.

Great trail and well marked! Harder than I expected but worth it. Ran into some cows meandering across the path.

A great adventure with beautiful scenery! I hike at least some portion of this trail at least once or twice a week. The offshoots are amazing, it’s very well marked and such a fantastic hike! It’s my absolute go to hike. Can’t say enough good things about it!

Loooonnngggg!!! We brought lights but got darker than we thought so had to rush the last part. Fun!! Very sandy in some parts, and steep declines in some areas. This also didn’t record the whole ride. Will probably try again soon.

I was able to run about half the trail. Great quick day hike.

there is no access from couger canyon road or anything on that side of the mountain. only access is from edwin road catalina.

great fun for this lower- intermediate biker! it was 93 degrees today tho, so be sure to bring LOTS of water/electrolytes!!!

Love the rock outcrops on this loop, the wildflowers and the fabulous mountain views along the way.

Good trail. If doing the loop, suggest starting on the north side. Great breeze off the south ridge feels great and more appreciated on the return leg.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. trail!! We didn't complete this trail due to a slower pace so I am most anxious to go back and do it again. The only issue I have is that i don't think the mileage is right for this. We started out on Wild Burro to Alamo Springs on the way to the Alamo Springs Cut off and after 4.15 miles (gps tracking) had not gotten close to the benches shown on the park map. Does anyone know if they are still there? Also, my gps tracked path didn't look anything like the map shown here. Still...an awesome hike, even on an 80° day!

Can’t say I would do this one again. We followed the signs for upper javelina at one part which took us to a different trail. Much more rocky than I was expecting. Great views and lots of wildflowers though.
