Fun stair-like climb, slow ascend but a lot of rocks to step up.

Very rocky but excellent views.

if you follow the whole loop- coach whip-ridgeline-sunrise-coach whip, it's more like 4 miles. still a good easy/mod hike

Fun hike, a bit rocky :)

Love the flag at the top! Very motivational...

Nice trail for us older folks just starting out

This was an amazing sunset hike to do. It’s fast and easy and you have plenty of time to get to the bottom before dark!

Disappointed by this trail. So many other better trails in Phoenix. It's fine if you're looking for something short, quick and easy and don't care much about seeing desert flora - not too many cacti here compared to other places.

An easy, convenient trail I find myself on a couple times a week.

Good workout! lots of loose rock in places, awesome views all around. it can be kind of crowded at times.

great for a morning hike and perfect to do with family.

love you Trail walk it with my dog once a week

This park is so crowded, but well maintained and easy to access if you're in a time crunch. There are rocks and the occasional snake, but I do enjoy completing this hike several times a year.

First hike I ever did and now do it routinely. A bit crowded on weekends.

I enjoyed this hike. I wouldn’t call it moderate in difficulty except for the rocky nature of the hike. I’d go again if I lived closer but it wasn’t a hike that I’d travel from the east valley to do again.

lots of traffic, easy and well marked

Love this trail after work! Nice little night hike! Not too difficult and is a good little cardio session!

We like to hike this trail during the week before 3:00...weekends can get crowded, especially parking.
Today when we hiked this trail, we only had to pick up 2 plastic bottles, so pretty clean considering there shouldn't be any littering.
Great trail for a good workout...easy/moderate- a little over 3.5 miles... watch your footing- loose rock... Happy Hiking!

Love it! About 25 minutes to the top, can go the switchback route that has more flat spots, or turn right at the fork for a longer more steady incline. Overall, shorter hike with nice views of the lakes below.

OK trail with some elevation, but not enough to get a serious cardio workout. Lots of loose rubble which makes for slippery footing at times. I like to hike this loop, then walk across the picnic area and hike the Sunrise, Coachwhip, Ridgeline Trail. Restrooms and water on site.

Description is accurate; I would add lots of loose rocks to navigate while walking.

Most of it’s too close to civilization for my liking. But The trails over the Ridgetop sent up to the flag on the sunrise summit are fine.

Great workout with some elevation. Love the flag at the summit. A lot of loose rock with was a bit challenging but nice trail. Will definitely do again.

Challenging but not overwhelming. would reccomend highly.

Been hiking this one for years, and it never gets old. The peak view is decent, but it’s the fun terrain of the trail that keeps bringing me back.

great afternoon walk.
LOVE the flag at the summit.
Great to sit under the flag and enjoy a bottle of water.
It's classified as moderate to difficult
don't think I'd go that far.
I personally would say easy to low moderate.
There are loose rocks so wear sturdy shoes.
