LOVE this hike all year round. I start bringing my children at age 4. Child back carrier possible but not alone, I'd bring someone to help with the steep areas and climbing down areas for child safety. Not stopping with a decent pace is 1hr 45min from bear canyon trail. Road dead ends - turn left- parking around to the right. Be smart and bring extra water. July monsoons watch for thunder head clouds and hike back immediately once you see them forming. 7 crossovers. Last 2 are about 15-20 min long each. Possible chance of shoes getting wet when water is high. Bathroom and water fountain are on the road before the main trailhead.

My most favorite hike in Tucson! Definitely need this app to make sure you are going the right way though!!

Beautiful with lots of water flowing. Need waterproof footwear to make the crossings, many side-trail options and birdlife.

Beautiful canyon and falls. It is a well maintained trail although there were times it was hard to find the trail after the water crossing.

beautiful falls! great hike

Easy walk

Good short walk

One of a best hike to do in winter.. thoroughly enjoyed 9 stream crossings.. A real worth the climb!!! will come back again for refreshing in the chillness and water.. This is a family hike , just guard the rocky terrain with children...

would rate it but couldn't find the pools!!

Always a good hike, keep your feet dry!

Great hike!! Loved all the river crossings. Saw frogs, and enjoyed the views from the top. Beautiful photo opps along the way!

Great and easy trail.

Make sure u are at the falls before 1400 if u want to have enough fun for a swim.

Hiked it on a Sunday after Saturday rains. Stream was up to my knees during crossings and all seven falls were roaring. Be careful not to lose track of the trail near the last (7th) crossing.

Seven Falls was by far one of my favorite hikes of our trip! I loved crossing the stream and all the scenic views before reaching the falls at the end. My advice: bring a picnic lunch or snacks and enjoy some time to relax by the waterfalls.

It was a very nice trail. This time of year the water seemed to be flowing well, we only made it about a mile in before turning around due to all the gnats and no see-ums. If you plan to do this hike BRING BUG SPRAY! We forgot ours and were driven crazy!

Great hike!! Creek had lots of water going!! So good to see evidence(poo) of big horns in the Sabino canyon area!

Tram or walking, this is one of the prettiest places in Southern AZ.

Awesome hike. PhoneLine switchback ascent is more moderate than easy.

It's not as easy as it sounds, I'd say it's more for a greater level of difficulty, but the beauty of the path and the arrival at seven waterfalls make up for every rock climbed by the way !!! The landscapes are beautiful and I never tire of admiring the mountains !!! Worth it!!

nice paved walk

Gorgeous canyon trail. Very little water unless it's early spring or there was recent, heavy rainfall so don't bet on the falls being active. Very easy hike, not much in the way of elevation gain until the very end. We did this trail in late May, started at 8 and finished around 11- any later and it would be too hot because there is almost no shade. I suggest taking the shuttle, it drops you off right at the start of the trailhead instead of walking about a mile on a paved road. This would be suitable for beginners in the cooler months.

This route is my favorite head-clearing walk in Sabino.

My favorite Sabino Canyon hike❤️ upper hiking vistas into layers of canyons in Pusch Ridge Wilderness. Hike long or short time, it’s least crowded hike in Sabino.

Love that you get to see Sabino from both sides of the canyon.

We do this trail alot. Very easy trail for the whole family. Great views and we love the cool swim.

Awesome hike from October to April. The best time to hike it is when Sabino Creek is flowing from the winter snow melt.

My son (7 years old) and I enjoyed the cayon views and minor rock scrambling. The girls in the family are strong hikers too. However, did not care for the heights amid some loose gravel parts.

My first hike last year visiting... Easy and bathrooms along the way. Little pools with small waterfalls near the top if I can recall correctly. Very scenic and memorable.
