Actually walked to bridge, dam and back up to Tram Rd and Rec Ctr and then home. Need to add 20 min for 1st mile from home to Sabine Canyon. Good to get moving again!

cool little trail part of much bigger loops. good for kids and adults of all ages. they have shuttles if you are feeling frisky you can catch a shuttle back down the longer/harder trails if needed. the dam had some running water today (9.14.19) but apparently none of the other spots did yet.

This was a challenging but fairly good trail to hike. Very Rocky and need to have lots of water and good pair of shoes. Very beautiful views and amazing wildlife. the pools have tons of fish so if you not scared to swim with them they will nibble on you.

Steep at times. It’s right on the ledge of the canyon and can thing out a lot towards the end. Moderate the perfect description.

Hot. Very hot. over 100 degrees by the end and nearly no shade. I went up the Bear Canyon side and saw zero water crossings. Absolutely beautiful around the Arizona trail. Thunderstorm rolled in at the end. It was a great cool-off but slowed me down.

This was an amazing hike and the views are stunning - well worth the challenge. It starts off unassuming but quickly turns moderate and then as it gets steep, I'd rate it as hard if you are a hiker who's in shape and on the low-end of strenuous if you aren't. I love to hike difficult terrain and found the heat with no shade to be the most brutal part of this hike. There are no real dangerous drop offs unless you go off trail. This hike is certainly achievable for anyone as long as you take breaks. If you are hiking in hot weather like I was, don't underestimate how much water you will need. I took 3L and used almost all of it. In fact, I started to worry that I'd run out. I also took a long route down and around the north side into the canyon to see other parts of the area. If you do take that route, there are shelters with bathrooms and water should need water like I almost did.

Awesome view at the top but it is very strenuous and definitely isnt a late morning/ midday summer hike haha. I hike a lot but got really exhausted doing it at 9am. Cool wildlife and plenty of cacti. A bit crowded for my liking and you have to get out of the way of others a lot when it is busy. Restrooms are nice though

Very easy hike, flat and little incline. End of August little rain so all the pools weren’t filled/running however, water was nice and refreshing. Great views the entire way up and back. Careful for rattlesnakes! Bring lots of water!

Doing during the summer you better have plenty of water and take a good break at the falls enjoy it cause the walk back to the car never seemed so far away got home and past out for 3 hours heat exhaustion damn but worth it so worth 1st trail I’ve ever done saw lots of cool stuff there’s a snake in one of the ponds so watch out be safe folks

I really enjoyed the trail but I hoped for more shade. Started at 5:30 am in August and saw full sun by 7. Phoneline stays shaded longer so if it's really hot, go there. Excellent trail but not when the day's high is 105. No regrets.

There are a few places where the trail cuts across the wash and you need to keep eyes peeled for trail markers. At one of the early crossings in particular I was glad to have my downloaded map at hand! Nice maintained trail, and water in the pools at seven falls in August. It was nice to take a dip before returning back. Definitely bring snacks and plenty of water, I passed more than one person run out or nearly run out of water on the trail!

Good easy/moderate trail. This time of year (August) there is no flowing water, so not quite as pretty as it would be at other parts of the year. No shade by late morning though, bring 3L of water and shoes with good ankle support. I am a experienced hiker and it took me 3.5 hours round trip with about a 30 minute break at the top.

Great hike!! No water really,, some nasty looking water at the fall ponds only.. but great hike overall, got very hot coming back!! But made it!!

The trail was amazing. it was so fun! There was lots of lizards some were rainbow colored and we saw snakes in the little bit of water that was around. Beautiful views!!

Loved the Sabino Canyon area. This was my first time venturing to Tucson to explore the mountains. Beautiful rock formations and your classic desert landscape. As we ventured to the third trail, the husband and I did get lost. We could not find the connector to Creek trail #52. Almost gave up when we found it. The ending was a surprise as we ran into a waterfall flowing over a rock dam. I would go back to explore more trails for sure! Minimal fee for parking. Completed on Apr. 27, 2019.

Beautiful hike and plenty of water in the pools.

Nice hike with good views. We walked up Sabino Canyon Road and returned on Phoneline trail. I look forward to repeating this hike in the spring or fall when the weather is cooler.

Fun awesome trail,, not hard but not easy either!! Good workout!!
