Very dog friendly trail! My dog loved just laying in the lake every once in a while to cool off. Nice easy hike/walk!

Good trail and definitely worth it. Some good views along the way. You’ll reach the first fork in the trail early on in the hike and can take either way for the loop.

Awesome easy loop around Lynx Lake. Like others have said, you are primarily right next to the water the entire time. Amazing photo opportunities along the way. Plenty of parking at 10am on a Saturday morning. No fees due to COVID-19. Bring a picnic as there are many places to sit waterside right by the parking lot.

Easy hike. Pretty views 1/2 way thru.

Very pleasant, very busy

perfect for kids, lots of running space.

We started on trail 326 just to the right of 33. It was a nice steady climb on dirt and rock path. At the junction we joined 33 and came down the steep paved path. Enjoyed the views. This time of the year the paths to the Butte are closed for the falcons breeding

Lovely, easy trail with lots of spots to fish or just enjoy the view.

Beautiful scenery but this trail is more ideal for mountain biking.

Loved it! Recommend going CW, and starting in the morning. Got hot fast and the first half has zero shade. Bring lots of water! Beautiful scenery every step of the way!

Great views of Mingus Mountain and the Verde Valley, all the way to Sedona. I only did a scouting hike to the highest point and back starting out going counterclock wise. I started out about 530am and finished by 7am, on June 21st.

9854 is very steep and has a lot of loose rocks. while this might be good for ATVs, it was terrible to hike, especially going counterclockwise. Also, the sign where 62 and 9854 meet is missing, I didn't even notice 9854 was a trail at the junction, just looks like a crazy steep wash. Bring lots of sunscreen, very little shade.

No, there isn’t a waterfall (error by the creator), but still a nice hike with trails that are well maintained. Thank you.

this trail (especially the portion around the lake) does not allow bikes at all. so I'm not sure why its listed as a mountain biking trail. people will even make comments if they see you on a bike....

Great challenging trail for my out of shape self. Gets quite steep in the last mile or half mile so hiking boots are a must. The fire lookout tower at the summit is occupied so not accessible but there’s still a great viewpoint up at the top if you continue past the picnic tables. Restrooms at trailhead and summit are both closed due to COVID (as of today June 18 2020)

You just can’t get to the very top right now because of the falcon nesting. Very nice hike though.
