Pros: well maintained trail, excellent signage for local plants/trees, and a good workout.

What I didn't prefer: the trail is basically surrounded by man-made development. Multi-million dollar homes, nice golf course, etc. But I really don't want to look at all that on a hike. The distant vistas were great.

Great views!

Run Pinnacle in the summer. All the amateurs will be gone.

Great climb and beautiful views!

Good strong hike great views

great hike, easy walk

Great hike to knock the Minnesota winter rust off in early February!

Love it! Lots of elevation changes and well maintained. A great workout.

Nice trail, good for kids. There was a snake exhibit at the trailhead that was interesting. Kids got a sticker from the park rangers after completing the hike.

loved the views and after climbing to the top and down to the other side, up the other mountain peak and down that side and than started over again to get back. great workout

Great for all ages and skill levels. The views are extensive in all directions.

Very busy trail on most weekends. However, this does present a good opportunity to challenge even the least experienced hiker in a way that won't make them angry or fearful. A good "blaster" for experienced trail runners, if there aren't too many crowds!

There are great views of the area. I would say if your experienced hiker it is moderately easy.

Well maintained. Good signs explaining the vegetation. Beautiful views. Moderate difficulty.

Same as similar reviews — it’s a happening spot for the first 75% of the trail. It’s true to its moderate rating as there are long stretches of straight uphill climbs, but achievable for folks of all ages and shapes.
