Awesome trail full of wildlife and wildflowers. Started around 10 A.M. (woke up late), wasn’t too hot because you’re on the shaded side of the mountain at that time of the day and the temperature really drops when you reach that higher elevation. Once you’re a third of the way up it starts looking more like Colorado and a lot less like Arizona this time of the year. Took me three hours to hike up and an hour to run (away from the thunderstorm) down the mountain. Trail does get a little overgrown at times but if you’ve got the ap! Great Sunday hike and incredible view at the top.
