Nice experience and views for first two miles. Does not get to dam unless add steep descent to top of Hoover Dam parking garage. More like 4 miles each way to get to dam. Best option is 2 miles out goes through all 5 tunnels, turn around and go back. Take WATER.

Great view and fun for the whole family!

The trail is a hard one to follow, but stay in general area and direction, it was worth it to get to the water falls. I will do this hike again after it rains to actually see water flowing off the water falls.

I've done this on foot and on bikes with my family... great trail, we were even able to pull our youngest in a bike trailer. Loved that we could lock our bikes up and go down to check out Hoover dam.

Take plenty of water on warmer days. I spent hours exploring this area and plan to go back in the fall

Really easy walking trail

4x4 needed for this trail during summer months. Trail was gated at the entrance to the canyon. Trail is closed.

Fun, family friendly, scenic, long! Haha

The view was amazing. We saw Mountain Goats and the dogs had a wonderful time. The railway tunnels are facinating and are sure to keep train-enthusiasts and history buffs entertained throughout the hike.

Petroglyphs you can walk right up to. Hidden oasis that during times of he years has a trickle of water in this otherwise barren desert.

A great view of Lake Mead. Enjoyed the hike with a friend. The tunnels are neat.

Great hike! Use the trail map to make sure you find the place to climb up the steep part to get to the top of the mesa... pretty easy in that one spot... recommend taking the secondary wash trail on the way back down... easier to descend through the loose rock

It’s always awesome. I’m so disappointed with people because I have see someone leave dog poop bags inside Tunnel. Please be respect wildlife keep clean. Please hold your dog poops bag until you see there trash can be safe for animals.

Hardly any climbs, nice views .. safe to bring even babies

Very scenic and easy

The trail is rated as moderate but I consider it more of an easy trail. It's short and the trail itself is pretty smooth. I would go in the morning or during cooler months; just take plenty of water and sunscreen. The road to the trailhead is narrow in some parts where you cannot see around the curves, so go slow.

Easy 6 mile hike (3 out and 3 back) from the Visitor Center lower parking lot trailhead through all 5 tunnels. 6 more miles (3 out and 3 back) takes you to Hoover Dam, but we only wanted a quick 2 to 3 hour hike with the kids today. The grade is very easy because the trail used to be a railroad bed.

This trail-head used to be a railroad, so since train tracks need to be as flat as possible the trail isn't very hard. There is not many uphills or downhills. It was very cool however to see the tunnels that cut through the mountain. To be honest, It would have been a lot more fun on a bicycle.

Got lost the first time coming here and ended up scaling the mountain but second time we came prepared and knew you had to keep going up after the first scramble. Love this hike and the views at the top are so worth it. It gets really windy for a majority of the hike. There's a nice surprise at the summit where you find a flag and a box with some supplies and a notebook.

This easy trail had some good views and tunnels, but it was very slow moving. It would be much better on bike.

It looks like the trail has been closed off at The Narrows since 2016. There is a huge fence barricade with a dozen signs to keep out. Someone said they crawled around the fence, but someone must have reinforced it because there was no way of getting around without climbing a mountain. Total bummer because all the good stuff is past the fence.

Took the family on this little hike...did about 2 miles...lots to see and explore, saw a small trickling waterfall. The petroglyphs were a hit with the wife! My daughters did great and loved climbing some of the boulders in the wash.

I took my kids (ages 8,5,3) and they LOVED walking through he tunnels. We walked through 3 tunnels and then turned back. My three year old walked the whole way but was moving pretty slow by the end. Beautiful views. I can’t wait to go back and run the whole thing.

beautiful. there are a lot of things to explore off trail. just be careful not to disturb the fragile ground.

loved it. lots of nice pictures to take.
