Never know what you are going to find or what you are going to see. Great views up on top back into the valley and of Roosevelt Lake coming down the back. Done the trip several times and at different times of the year. Can run into lots of snow pack during. some winters.

Great day drive. I took my xv crosstrek through all the way, a few big pot holes and rough parts but nothing crazy. Next time I'll put better shocks in before I as I bottomed out a couple times, but otherwise it was great. beautiful view of the backside when you get to the top. Bring your camera.

sand is not an understatement. there was one major hill that I would not have made it up if we were doing the trail in reverse in my truck. the dips or whoops after the sand got old pretty quick too. happy to say we did the complete trail in about 2 hours. 1997 Isuzu hombre 2wd open diff. Goodyear Wrangler trailrunner 237/75/15 aired down to 15psi. No lift.

Decent place to go for an off road adventure - but there are much better and scenic drives to take

Great views of the lake. Wish you could get up to the actual “4 peaks”

Nice, easy drive with beautiful views.

Beautiful! We loved everything about it, especially Roosevelt Lake at the end. I would not take my little SUV on this. Much rougher than we expected. Our Jeep did great! We ended up hanging a right after crossing over the bridge off 188 and took that to 88 and enjoyed the views down Apache Trail. We live in Mesa...full trip was 6.5 hours.

Decent enough drive. Scenery is good although not great compared to other trails in the area. Great lookout over Roosevelt Lake though, maybe worth it all by itself. More or less a drive down some old dirt road. Even saw some cars driving it (I wouldn’t chance it). Any stock truck or SUV will make quick easy work of this road. We were in a Polaris General 4 and were able to cruise along at a pretty quick pace. Some great spots to stop and take in the surroundings. All in all it was enjoyable enough for a nice outing.

Very pleasant and scenic drive throughout the Four Peaks mountain range. Light traffic and easy graded dirt road for the most part. Saw one car going by but wouldn't recommend the trail for any low clearance vehicle due to some washed out and rutted in places. Will come back for sure as it was worth the view!

great drive, better scenery...

This was a fun Trail. Went there 2 days in a roll. First trip was mainly finding a spot to shoot and the second trip was for shooting and doing the whole trail to Roosevelt lake to the 60 and back home to chandler. I never had to engaged 4x4. I'm on a stock 2017 Toyota Tundra. Flew by majority of it going around 20-25 mph when it was permitted. Please please if you're out there shooting please pick up some of the trash if you can, or at least pick up after your self. Be part of the solution and not a problem. Other than that enjoy yourselves to what AZ has to offer.

This is an amazing trail for the scenery. Not difficult at all. Never put the rig into 4 wheel drive. Nice, cool, getaway. Some really nice spots to take pics as well. Totally recommend.

Great beginner trail with excellent views.
Completed in 2wd with no issues.
(2016 Toyota Tacoma)

easy going trail with great views.

what's makes for a nice half day run is:
up 4 peaks from beeline, down the east side to Roosevelt, then south to apache trail and back into AJ/town. great views, some hiking and lakes along the ways.

4X4 not required. Great views. Not too busy. Went about 1/3 the way off Beeline Hwy (Not quite to Cline Hiking Trail). Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road.

Great trail. Amazing views. Make sure to have an offline capable GPS when out and about. There is very limited cellular signal out this way.

Amazing views, found a couple of hidden camp sites near the high point of the road. Some loose rock in places but a very easy drive.

The views were beyond amazing but the trail was VERY bumpy most of the way. Easy trail but you want an SUV for sure! When you get to the end of the trail, if you choose to go back towards Globe just know it's about 2 hours around the mountain! Next time we will probably just turn around and go back thru the trail. We left phoenix and round trip we put on 190 miles from our house n back to go on this 26 mile trail. Just make sure you have all day! It was nice to drive along Roosevelt Lake and the mountain drive back on the 60 was very scenic too!

pretty simple trail. passenger cars can get around if they are careful.
pine trees for the last 15 minutes or so, mostly brush. there are a few nice places to camp along the creek.

Great trail that takes you out to Roosevelt Lake. Most suv's and trucks should have no problem..
