My kids and I love this trail! It’s the very 1st one we completed when we 1st moved to Arizona!

I enjoyed the most peaceful and serene moment of my week hiking the Dysart trail starting at Coldwater and returning through Butterfield.
It's moderate on the easy side, there were very few people, mostly bikers.
Being the end of April with the desert in bloom, there were quite a few bees buzzing around the mesquite trees but I wasn't bothered.

Nice trail. Pretty easy. I would say 5 miles though.

Hiked this trail last week with my sisters. We are all in our 50's and this was a great hike. Some sections were steep but it wasn't too hard. There was a lot of horse poop on the trail. We parked our car and walked up the Baseline Spur Trail (which was fairly steep) to the Baseline Trail. Wonderful views. Round trip from our car was about 3 1/2 miles.

Well, gravel-paved and maintained .5 mile loop. Brought my baby in his stroller with no issues. Confused about the mentioned "cave." There were some hollows in a wash but didn't look at them up close because they were off trail. It was a good nature walk with signs marking the natural plants and info about the area. There's also benches along the way including one with shade about half way.

the trail was amazing nice scenery and a good workout

Be on the lookout for horse droppings! Nice trail wide and smooth enough in most portions to run if you’d like.

A moderate hike, not too many hills but my GPS showed us hiking 4.9 miles, not 3.9.

Tougher than it seems. I wouldn’t suggest it for beginners or people with bad knees.

I hiked Baseline trail today with my 5 and 9 year old. Beautiful day for a hike. The trail was easy for me but a few spots were hard for the kids. They pushed on through and we did a total of 3.6 miles. We saw two roadrunners one when we entered the park and the second on Baseline trail.

Would have been 5 stars but lots of dog poop on trail not picked up by owners. Shame on humans

I wouldn't say easy, but it was beautiful.

Pretty boring but good for passing time or talking to friends. Lots of fun critters to spot, just not my usual type of hike.

Really enjoy the serenity here. Wind up on the mountain is welcomed in the heat of the summer.

nice easy hike. moderate inclines/declines. highest elevation was about 1180ft above sea level so not to crazy. good views of Goodyear and the Estrella Mountains. nothing over exciting with the views but still good landscapes. be aware this 'loop' uses 3 different trails to complete the loop. start on rainbow then take a left on Dysart trail and another left once you get to toothoker trail to head back.

Great trail to view the wildflowers in the Spring. In early Mach the hills are blanked in yellow and white flowers, in late March the Cactus come alive.

I just moved to the area and have a one year old. I am also 9 months pregnant and this hike was perfect for me and my family. Would definitely recommend it to others because you get to see wildlife and beautiful flowers as well as beautiful views of Arizona.

Take the Rainbow Valley trail to the Dysart trail to the Toot-something trail to have a nice moderate 4.6 mile loop hike.
