Started on the west side and enjoyed logging some elevation early on. Up and down throughout the loop made for nice variety. The south half of the trail has nice views that include local neighborhoods and the Phoenix LDS temple, while the north half feels more remote (aside from the CAP canal, of course). Interesting to see the remnants of the fire that happened in this area in May.

Moderate-easy...somewhat rocky/ If you are looking for distance at ease, you can get it on this trail.

This was one of my favorite trails that I hiked on my trip. Really cool terrain changes.

Good elevation change and ran into a rattle snake on the back side of the circumference trail after completing the summit. Good views and lightly traveled during the week, only ran into 8 hikers in the 4.1 miles.

Saw 2 rattlesnakes on this trail yesterday ⚠️. Be careful! Beautiful trail though

Great trail with what I consider gradual inclines rather than hiking straight up. Nice views all around. Saw a large horned lizard, at least I think he was horny.

LOVED this trail. Wasn't too hard, beautiful scenery. Saw a lot of lizards which was cool. Loved how it was free and no admission. Definitely going back.

Great hike and usually less crowded than the surrounding trails. However, in the last week I have come across two snakes. One of them being a rattlesnake that was right off the trail, and luckily was there to stop a jogger with her dog coming from the opposite way. Just be alert with this trail, especially people with children and dogs.

I enjoyed the hike. Had a big boar cross in front of us. Glad he kept moving.

Trail head under construction. Have to park along side the road. Best to get to the trail from the city gate. Beautiful weather. Must have water with it warming up. Terrain goes back and forth between rocky and smooth areas. Little traffic on trail. Great hike

This hike is absolutely beautiful! Great for kids and dogs on leash. Absolutely gorgeous wildflowers right now!

Wonderful views, no crowds, easy climbs.

3/2/19 lots of rocks

A mix of flat double-track, and technical signal track. Some off-leash dogs and owners who can’t read leash law signs. Overall, worth the trip.

The hill is not so interesting in itself, but there are lots of wildflowers and great panoramas in all directions. Well worth it if you are nearby, perhaps not worth a long drive to the trailhead. pretty easy going.

Good trail with nice views.

It was a very nice hike this morning with our dog. We took the Palisade trail and some of the Circumference. The weather was mostly cloudy with some raindrops. The terrain was rough, a lot of loose gravel, dirt, but there was some loosely paved areas. It was was quite the site with pretty desert landscape views, lava rock and a variety of different cacti. I recommend this for all ages.

Snakes...... beware my friends. Great little hike... takes about an hour.

i'm a beginner, with a height fear, and i'm about 35lbs overweight, we did trail (C) which was 6.1 miles total. it was a bit rough, but only because I'm out of shape. I loved the scenery and the trail wasn't to difficult. id do it again.

I’m new to the area and find all of trails through AllTrails and have completed several moderates. We did the Deem Hill Circumference Trail .yesterday , not the Ridgeline Trail. It was a short 5.6 mile easy/moderate trail with variety inasmuch as inclines, flats and easy descents. Many areas are rocky which I love while others are mainly dirt. Inclinesarent difficult but enough to keel me happy. The scenery is great in the distance, the hike itself has been a favorite, getting in a good hike is what I needed post raging trochanteric bursitis and steroids , I’d love to run it at some point, it really is a great trail to run or hike.
