Cool little trail. Had two small children with me who managed to get about 1/4 of the way before tapping out. However they did really well for it being slightly rocky and steep at times. We’ll be back for sure

Checking out Trail for PSC. Took circumference to Ridgeline and small portion of Basalt. Beautiful park nearby with kids playing soccer and a dog park is at base.

Nice evening hike after work.

9-27-19. Sunrise Hike catching a little rain and a rainbow! Gradual incline workout, well maintained trail easy to follow. Not very scenic, a few birds, hot air balloons and a motorized glider passed through above. No Fees. Washrooms on site. Enjoy!

A great running trail if you love a few rocky sections.

got an early start but it heated up real quick. only saw two other hikers out.

If you come before about 7 am a good chunk of this trail is in the shade. Nice trail!

Started on the west side and enjoyed logging some elevation early on. Up and down throughout the loop made for nice variety. The south half of the trail has nice views that include local neighborhoods and the Phoenix LDS temple, while the north half feels more remote (aside from the CAP canal, of course). Interesting to see the remnants of the fire that happened in this area in May.

Good elevation change and ran into a rattle snake on the back side of the circumference trail after completing the summit. Good views and lightly traveled during the week, only ran into 8 hikers in the 4.1 miles.

Saw 2 rattlesnakes on this trail yesterday ⚠️. Be careful! Beautiful trail though

Great trail with what I consider gradual inclines rather than hiking straight up. Nice views all around. Saw a large horned lizard, at least I think he was horny.

LOVED this trail. Wasn't too hard, beautiful scenery. Saw a lot of lizards which was cool. Loved how it was free and no admission. Definitely going back.

Great hike and usually less crowded than the surrounding trails. However, in the last week I have come across two snakes. One of them being a rattlesnake that was right off the trail, and luckily was there to stop a jogger with her dog coming from the opposite way. Just be alert with this trail, especially people with children and dogs.

I enjoyed the hike. Had a big boar cross in front of us. Glad he kept moving.
