trail running

I run here around the park and lagoons at dusk and in the morning and this is the best place to do so around town. Scenery is beautiful and I always see either eagles, herons, ducks beavers, otters. Have also seen deer here, bobcat, mountain lion and of course lots of skunks. Strongly recommend, even if you only come to walk your dog.

greetings to you my name is Sgt Mira, please if you don't mind i will like to know you better, please reply me for more introduction on this email..(usmilitarybase0218@gmail.com)

Creds: AllTrails Pro. 14.3 mi. $7 parking at Dead Horse Ranch. Started 8:am Tuesday 4 June 2019 CW. Recommend going counter clockwise to get quick elevation gain over with early in morning. 90% hike on top mountain range with full sun exposure. Only found 3 trees with shade. Drank 4 liters of water. Forecast 94F, felt like 110F! Not recommending hike during monsoon season!!! Keep getting caught in thunder and lightning storms when there’s not supposed to be one!!!. I’m done with these high ridge hikes during monsoon! Lot’s of mountain lion scatt so call out once in a while “Hey Cat”.

this is an easy and somewhat boring trail if you are walking. it has challenges for bikers. i recommend starting at lower Raptor lot for bikers. also there is a restroom and water fountain at the Lime Kiln area and not at lower raptor. hard core bikers may want a more challenging trail. if you park your car at one end you will need to walk on the main road for about a mile to the other lot. lower raptor parking lot is on Flycatcher road and Lime Kiln starts across from pond. little shade and no acccess to water on the trail for people with dogs.

this trail isn't so bad if you don't mind that day at the park type walk, I went in expecting some offroad trails but the path was nice and paved.

Little tougher than I expected but nice bumpy ups and down the hills

Well maintained easy to follow with plenty of trail markers along the way.

This is an easy walk and well marked but there’s a not a lot to see. If you just want some exercise from the campsite then it’s worth it but I wouldn’t drive a long distance to get here. We walked from Tuzigoot National Monument by following the Tavasci Marsh trail, which made it an interesting 2 hour walk. If you have a National Parks pass but not a State Park pass, then park at Tuzigoot and walk through.

This was a fun night hike done from the camper doorstep. I was continuing on after loop completion to do another small loop but the wet snow was soaking in and I started to get too cold so I turned around.

Hell of a climb, technical, vast view

One our favorite places to walk the dog. Very easy, pleasant hike.

Not so much of a hike as a walk, but Wow! what a beautiful walk. Hubby did some fishing and there's a ton of birds to watch.

Def not hard at all, needs to be down rated to easy. Nice walk.
