Beautiful views; rough roads but worth the bumps!

Loved! Very scenic, a little crowded in am. Parking is pretty good if you get there early.

Nice trail, beautiful view with a lot less elevation gain to get to it that elder lookout was. Great for a relaxing hike with good views

Amazing day. !

My wife and I took my stock Chevy 1500 crew cab on this trail. It was a ruff ride for my wife. I had a blast. The bumps and beautiful views were well worth it. We turned back after 5 miles.

Trail ran in counterclockwise. This is a keeper. Great views. The portion by the road is loud and crowded but it’s short. Perfect morning.

Freakin awesome hike for kids and families
We started at the cathedral rock parking lot and cut off a lot of the initial mileage of the hike
But the oasis we found at the end point (oak creek) was so fun and relaxing - highly recommend

This is a good trail for casual walking, and would be a great spot for trail running. It also provides some variety from the other more mountainous scenery of other local trails. The loop winds through beautiful pine forest and grassland. The summit is a long gradual ascent to the top. There are nice views, very well maintained trails throughout, and few other people, all of which result in a pleasant place to walk.

Easy trail for casual walkers or novice hikers. The dramatic close-up views of Courthouse and Bell rock formations make this a thoroughly enjoyable scenic experience, but seasoned hikers will want something more technical and demanding. Still, it is almost a 'must-do' when in Sedona, since these rock formations are so iconic. Expect large crowds, especially at Bell Rock itself.

Beautiful views, perfect to go after a snowfall! Only saw three other people on the trail!

Great easy hike.....beautiful views —mountain bikers would love this easy loop

Amazing hike! Sedona is so beautiful!

My first trail while I was in Sedona...the sights were incredible to see from above.

Trail is an easy drive but is bumpy. 4WD wasn’t needed as it was just rocky and slow going. Scenery is what makes this trail worth going down.

Not a bad trail, especially for just a quick beginner hike in Sedona to be able to enjoy the area's beauty without having to go out too far or push yourself much. Had a good time, but I personally aim to be challenged on a trail so not my favorite. Good if you just want to get out into nature or take your dog or kids.

We started mid morning on this long day hike at the Little Horse Trailhead then on to HT trail. We passed under the HT trail bridge and continued west on Templeton Trail, enjoying my favorite panoramas in this area. We took a break at the Cathedral Rock trailhead and due to my friend’s knee limitations we were only able to get as far to the start of crevice” climb on the Cathedral Rock scramble. Going back down Cathedral Rock looked like hikers were surfing on “waves” of red rock.
We continued west on Templeton and took a snack break by the large tree at Oak Creek. Ambitiously, we decided to add the Baldwin Loop to our day long hike. We sensed a vortex behind Cathedral Rock, just before the Hiline trail marker. We continued clockwise loop, exploring the rock saddles on the south end and making up names, like “midget Easter island men” and the “happy Buddha face” for rock formations above. We sensed another energy vortex by the Oak Creek heading upstream near the little rapids along the sandy trail.
Climbing the switchbacks on Templeton trail then back down to the Cathedral Rock trailhead challenged our endurance. We welcomed the cooler forest and easy paths of Easy Breezy trail as we continued to hike in the late afternoon then quickened the pace on to HT trail. Finally, after about 5.5 hours and almost 9.5 scenic miles, our aching bodies arrived at the Little Horse trailhead!!
Park pass fee. One outhouse at the trailhead.
Note: Big thanks to the US forest service taking care of the trails

easy hike. The first third of the trail is a tad too close to the highway for my liking, but after that the noise and traffic views subside.

We rode our Polaris General 4 from Munds Park down this road to Sedona. The views were fantastic and we had plenty of places to stop and take photographs. The road itself isn’t challenging but it is very rough for most of the ride. A few sporadic places where full size vehicles would need to navigate carefully but nothing extreme. We made a day trip out of it riding from Munds to have lunch in Sedona and take a couple other trails before returning the same route back to Munds. Catching sunset from the top of this trail was pretty great and if it gets dark and you don’t want to head back down, you can just cut over to the I17.

I did this trail in reverse from the I-17 exit 320 down into Sedona. The drive was beautiful the entire way and It took 2 hours of all downhill driving! It’s also a little rocky once you get out of the pines so it’s a slow trip but worth it.

Wonderful light hike. The trail is mostly level, with only a few short slight inclines.. Some sections are a little narrow - and others a little rocky. However, most sections are smooth & broad enough for two to walk side by side. My wife and I walked the full Campbell Loop in a little more than 2 hours. We met 4 or 5 other hikers and 4 or 5 bikers in that time. There is minimal road noise from the I 40 which is just north of the most outbound sections of the trail. A few squirrels, plenty of birds and other tracks everywhere... Enjoy!

Easy, but very rocky (bumpy) trail with spectacular views of the red rock formations and Sedona valley. Great trail to stop and climb the rock formations along the way. Bring lunch/snacks to take in the view from Schnebly Hill Vista.

Fun hike, easy to do with the kids.
