Great loop for kids.

great trail! a lot of variety, well marked, clear paths. Lots to see! The Quartz rocks are beautiful. A little bit of shade along the way. I started at Go John then took the Quartz trail to Slate trail and back to the parking areas, which took a little over an hour. a little bit of incline the first half, then the second half is mostly decline or flat. went on a Saturday and think I saw a total of 4 or 5 people on that trail. pushed back far enough from main roads that it really does feel desolate and peaceful. there is a $6 day pass fee, but definitely worth it!

Nice clean trail! Great sights.

Went late morning on a Saturday, and even though there wasn't a whole lot of parking available I didn't come across a lot of people on the trail. Only encountered one biker. My dog loved it and we saw a Gila monster!

Great views with some elevation, but not challenging. There's a beautiful quartz outcropping on, of course, the Quartz Trail section. Quartz and Slate sections have several benches.

Great scenery !

Beautiful hike, all the quartz was very cool, scenic, quite easy short hike

Nice short easy trail. Picture is misleading as the mine shaft/tunnel is gated shut.

Beautiful hike easy to walk and 360 view. Will do again

Very short trail. I ended up looping around Overton trail. The cave is closed and small regardless.
Also Maricopa parking fee applies, $6 I believe unless you have the Maricopa pass(who ch I do so i forgot the exact price).

You need to pay to get in ..$6 per car

Nice trial did it with the dog and the kids I would definitely recommend it for little kids.

Can get bogged down behind groups on hoseback so we moved on to another trail.

Pretty Trail. Not to difficult at all and you could probably make it through without many breaks. There were a lot of bikers on the trail so keep a loon out. Oh, also nice bathrooms.

We added this trail while we did the Overton trail. It was cool I see the cave but it is blocked off so you can’t go in.

Beautiful views, nice loop

Nice desert hike with good views to the mountains north. Mountain bikers on trail.

Quiet trail with lots to see
