Easy hike. Breathtaking scenery!

Easy, Gorgeous after first big snow of the season!

Beautiful easy hike. Great views of Mendenhall Glacier. The waterfall is huge and you can get up close to it. There is also a nice visitor center at the head of the trail. I know this trail can be crazy busy. We hit it just right in the middle of September and hiked it before the cruise ship came into port. We saw maybe a total of ten people the whole time. Worth the hike, just plan around the cruise ship schedule so it's not to crowded.

Easy trail with nice views of Nugget Falls and Mendenhall Glacier. Only downside is the large number of other people on the trail.

Good trail into some old forest. The lake is nice, but the woods are better. Did it on a rainy day (go figure) with a friend. We really enjoyed the stillness and silence of the rain forest. Didn't go all the way to the top, but it is a good, accessible walk from town.

very easy, more of a stroll than a hike. wonderful views

Short beautiful green rainy hike. Easy hike wear hiking boots. Muddy.

We started at the college and passed the middle trail head to the end. Head east after steps to library and then down the road downtown. End up at 49er bar

BEAUTIFUL hike... tons of skat though, luckily that's all we saw.

easy walk through the rainforest. it is well maintained... don't know what people are talking about. no it's not for strollers.....That's not a hike.... that a stroll. not much for views, but the rainforest is beautiful

One of my favorite hikes of all time. : )

I believe this is the hike that was part of the princess cruise alaska excursion. Memorable and not difficult

very easy and relaxing. pretty amazing, but I'm biased because my boyfriend proposed on this hike. ❤

A sign at the beginning of this trail say "not a maintained trail travel at your own risk". It is easy to see why after a short distance into this hike why. A lot of rock steps that people bypass and a lot of mushy ground from all the water running off the Mt. Good views along the way and looks like the kind of forrest you expect something evil to live in. Still fun but not the best hike in Ketchikan.

What a beautiful trail that allows you to see a waterfall and a glacier at the same time. I definitely recommend this to all who want an easy trail in Juneau Alaska.

Great hike with beautiful views. I logged r miles round trip. first mile is climbing rock and wood steps. well maintained trail.

Beautiful!!! Loved getting so close to the actual waterfall!

Stroller friendly, a really nice walk!

Sep 20, 2016 - This is a very easy trail with barely any elevation gain. It's massively over-crowded, but the only way to get to the falls by foot. Rangers stopped a bunch of us to allow a black bear and cubs cross the trail. Eagles are flying around the area grabbing salmon where they can. We even saw a little porcupine. It looked like the kayaks were the best method of getting close to the glacier. There's also a trail on the other side of the bay, but we couldn't find anyone who knew about it enough to take us there. We also didn't have enough time before the cruise ship left port.
