Tawney M. on Point Bridget Trail
I've done this trail many times. Flat and easy. The meadow is great on a sunny day and don't forget to watch for horses and moose!
Beautiful trail which is mostly flat through forests and fields surrounded by mountains taking you to the ocean. As typical of most of the trails in the area, the trail is comprised of boards in some places to cross over muskegs or consistently muddy sections. Use caution on the boards. My group stayed at Blue Mussel cabin on the ocean for a night at the end of this trail. The cabin itself is small but has the typical loft found in other Forest Service cabins. The trail leads out of the forest across a meadow and up to a small embankment. Once you top it, you are greeted with a great panoramic view of a bay. The trail continues to the left following the beach for a short while before entering the forest again and taking you to the cabin.

Trail was clear. First part trail is covered by floor boards. Too many mosquitos. The trail was muddy.
