First time here! Loved the Ridgeline Trail. Can't wait to return!

Excellent trail. Well marked and varied. Trails suit people of all needs.

I really like the Ike Matson Trail and the Ridge trail. The rest kinda felt like a road walk

This is an awesome trail I loved it and was surprised how much I enjoyed it, it has some borrow areas with steep hill drops on each side and one spot that is a bit of a challenge to get down that you kinda have to grab a tree because it’s a steep walk downs that’s just flat dirt to walk on but other than that beautiful views and amazing hike loved loved loved!!!

Super clean with friendly staff

Part of this route is the wide “road” type trails circling this park. But the other half is typical trails. Just enough elevation for a quick morning excursion. Pretty view of downtown Birmingham at the overlook.

Great trail

Once I got off the exterior loop, I was all alone! Trail was very well kept and marked. I did see a snake on the trail, so heads up.

Parking was crowed but there are so many trails that it was not crowded once we started hiking. Interesting area, trails were easy and well marked. Lots of trails crisscrossing did get a little confusing. Trails are numbered so paper map would help. Good area for exercise if you live nearby

This is a good trail for a calm afternoon, not a challenge. This park is great on the week days but gets way too crowded for my taste on the weekends. I would rate this trail for a Friday afternoon light traffic, which is great for a reactive dog (like I have) to get some exercise.

Easy afternoon walk thru the woods with my bride. Talking and dreaming of Colorado.

Hiked this trail last weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! We planned on only doing the 4 mile hike on the other side of the park and ended up at Grace’s Gap Overlook making it a total of 10 miles! We will definitely be back!

Great trails and a great park , very well maintained. Smythe trail was the hardest going up hill but it was not as challenging as I expected. Highly recommend to explore all the trails in the park.

Very easy trail to check out some of the mines at the park. Went a week ago and there were a few muddy spots but otherwise it was a nice trail

Very easy hiking, trail is mostly flat. Trail is well maintained and wide.

Great park with awesome trails. All the trails are well maintained and tons of old mining buildings and mines to check out

awesome area, well maintained trails and a ton of cute activity areas for kids. Not too bad of a walk up to the overlook, but a little muddy today! bring some good boots:)

Great park in the city, good for all skill levels.

pick this trail up during the eureka mine trail.

about half way through you can pick up Grace's Gap trail also. we did that and came back to same form and continued the rest of the miners trail.

Mostly just old mining roads. There are some incredibly interesting things in the park. Old mines, confidence courses, tree houses with swinging bridges. The cutoff trails are really nice but the main “trails” are lots of gravel road walking.

Easy trail, with a nice swinging bridge to check out right before the overlook.

Some easy and flat trails, and some that are more of a “hike”. Good variety for running, walking or hiking. Very shady too!

Nice well groomed fairly easy trail system. Trails are flat or with gradual grade changes for the most part because it travels along old mining trails. Park has a zip line, rope course, climbing tower, dog park and a few other attractions for kids if they’re open. Trails are well marked but the names and numbering are a bit confusing.

A wonderful park with well marked and maintained trails. Neat little attractions such as the Tree House and Grace’s Gap are scattered throughout and the views are amazing. There are many historical artifacts in the park and some signage denoting the history. If you become a member you can take a guided history tour where you’ll hear numerous interesting stories from a local historian. I haven’t done the zip line adventure but know many who have that thoroughly enjoyed it.
