This trail runs along the banks of the Arroyo de las Guarramillas, where in addition to lush vegetation, you can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. Although this route is known as the "Poza de Sócrates", it does not refer to the ancient philosopher, but was named after the famous footballer Socrates Quintana, a former Atlético de Madrid footballer. Socrates was a member of the Spanish Alpine Club and gave great importance that this area was reserved for recreation and bathing.Show more
