El Puigmal is one of the highest peaks in Cerdanya and is located on the border between France and Spain. Many hiking trails can start from here at this point and all of them are worth it for nature lovers. In winter, you can ski in the Valle de Núria ski resort. A beautiful route that starts in the parking lot of the Vallter 2000 ski resort that ascends surrounded by a beautiful red pine forest at the foot of the stream loaded with water from the mountain's thaw. You can stop at the Ulldeter Refuge, located in an idyllic natural setting at the beginning of the Ulldeter Circus. In short, a highly recommended excursion with panoramic views of all the peaks of the Pyrenees. Note: hiking shoes are essential and poles are recommended as they help you climb.Show more

This beautiful high mountain route aims to reach Puigmal, one of the most popular and visited mountains in Catalonia. Presiding over the Núria Valley, it borders Alta Cerdanya and is the highest peak in the province of Girona and the Ripollès region. The ascent is not particularly difficult, although it is very uneven and in some sections the path becomes very rocky. In any case, do not forget that it is a high mountain route and you have to have some experience in the world of hiking and be in shape.Show more
