Nice route from the city of Barcelona to the pretty town of Sant Vicenç dels Horts, passing through the lush Collserola Park. The path runs through the famous Tibidabo, the Turó de Castellví, the Puig d'Ordola and the Castellciuró Castle, among other points that are worthwhile. The municipality of Sant Vicenç dels Horts is very popular for the multitude of hiking trails that can be done in its surroundings and the beautiful views from its highest areas. Walk to the entrance of the Diputacio Office (closed but open to the public), just north and slightly west of the Montbau neighborhood metro stop. The route begins here as it begins to run on a paved road, heading north through Campus de Mundet. Turning left (west) at the Psychology College roundabout, you will make your way to the start of a dirt road that turns northeast uphill, before heading northwest again. (Cars are not allowed on the dirt road as there is a chain where the pavement ends.) After several sharp bends you will be near the top of the hill where there is an intersection with access to a one way trail on your right (a little hard to find) heading east back downhill. Take the trail downhill and turn left at a fence to follow the trail back northwest as it parallels Carrer Germans Desvalls to a small park (Font De La Marquesa). Here you will turn left (west) to go back up another steep trail with several curves near the top. The trail takes you to a dirt road near the Mirador de Cerdanyola, from where you will head south along the open ridge line, offering beautiful views of Barcelona below. (Again, it appears that no cars have access to this area.) The dirt road ends at the Company Animation Academic Center, where it can get a bit confusing, but head east towards the nearby hairpin bend at BP-1417 (Stay on the north side of the road and keep an eye on the cars ). Here, if you look carefully near the road railing, you will again find access to a one-way trail that heads north into the woods. Taking the path, you will soon come to a crossroads, turn right (southeast) and follow the path until you reach the Mirador de Montbau. From here, turn left to take a dirt road that heads northwest and ends at Ermita de Sant Cebrià d'Horta. Turning right, finally take Carrer de Sant Cebrià to the southeast, pass Escola Baloo and return to the exit. This completes a running loop of about 10 km (six miles). This is a highly recommended route, mainly on single track trails and dirt roads, with several workouts on solid hills that offer beautiful views of Barcelona. If possible, this is best done during the day as some of the heads can be difficult to locate, and keep an eye out for wild boars in wooded areas!Show more

Nice route through Collserola to complete the entire route of the Mitja Marató de Collserola organized by the UEC de Horta every year. It begins in Sant Feliu de Llobregat and goes through the Sierra de Collserola Natural Park. The route runs between track and small trails Medium qualification route since although it does not have a great difference in level, it is a continuous up and down. The route is very well signposted by green plates, both the half Marathon and the Marathon Start and finish at the Horta Velodrome.Show more

Beautiful route through the western part of the Collserola Natural Park following the PR 164 trail that leads to one of the three 100 FEEC Summits in this mountain range. The road is not the busiest in the whole mountain range and as it happens in the entire Natural Park, there are many crossroads and trails everywhere. During this route, you pass by the top of San Pedro Mártir, where the antiaircraft batteries and the Peña del Moro and its Iberian town are located.Show more
