Description
uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park is an enormous park situated along the eastern border of Lesotho. The park includes the Royal Natal National Park and part of the Drakensberg, the highest mountain range in South Africa. Together with the Sehlabathebe National Park in Lesotho, they form the Maloti-Drakensberg Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors come to this park for a variety of activities including hiking, fishing, swimming, rock climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, boating, bird watching. The park boasts miles of trails, for all fitness levels. The striking landscape is characterized by sandstone cliffs, gigantic peaks, hidden valleys and crystal clear rivers.
