Climbed up and camped out on the top overnight. Amazing views!

Not the easiest of a moderate walk - a few bits I elected to come down on my bottom - but well worth the view

Amazing hike! You can definitely notice a temperature change between the hidden valley below and the summit of Ben A’an. Bring layers and waterproof footwear because it was quite wet. Full stars for this one. Also bring change for parking at the bottom! £3 for the day.

Initial hairy drive to the car park but you're rewarded with immediate stunning views. Our route took us back down towards the base of the mountain and we had a muddy, humid hike back up. Steady walk up, gets a bit steeper right at the end so if you're balance is poor you may need support. There's a pretty decent chance of getting a tick so remember to cover up and bring a removal tool.

This is a very lovely hill climbing trail. The trail itself was clear to find. Muddy and rocky, but still walkabel with the right gear. There is one part near the end that is difficult to climb. The view on top is beautiful and worth the effort.

Lovely route with fantastic views. Although the elevation is around 425m it is gradual so it’s a steady walk. We did come off trail a few times so not sure if we just missed the track or if the trail loaded trail was slightly off. Nonetheless, an enjoyable Sunday morning stroll

An amazing hike with breathtaking views. The first climb off the Highland Way is STEEP and doesn't follow a path so keep a close eye on this route. this pretty much continues until rejoining the path over the last 3 miles. But you can join up the peaks. The last peak is now fenced off like a nature reserve but you can follow the perimeter round to the left. Our conditions were glorious sunshine but still a little boggy underfoot across all the tops so out of season would be very boggy.

Very Nice view from the top ! Good but very short hike . I would do it if you don’t have so much time or combine it with another hike the same day

Lovely walk, very well done roads, nice variation. A small part is close to the road. And has a lot of traffic noise.

A great walk. We had a mostly sunny day just a little wind. Some steep sections that are exactly like climbing stairs. The View of both loch Katrine and loch achray are amazing.

Did two sections from Callander to Killin and from Acharn to Pitlochry for a total of 44 miles. Beautiful scenery along a former railway route, over sheep grazing pastures and through forests. Along the way there are many fine pubs and even a top-notch chocolate shop. Highly recommended.

Just climbed Ben Aan for first time. My third Ben after Chabhair and Lomond. Not as challenging or as long as the others but the two steep staircase sections shouldn't be underestimated. Views at the top best both the others. Stunning

400 m of elevation over a little more than 2 kms but what a foot when arriving. The view is amazing. It took us about 1:30 to get on and off. If you stay in Edinburgh on a short break this is the perfect destination for not doing too many kms.

This hike was a bit more on the hard side for us, constant elevation gain but worth it for the views!!

As a visitor to Scotland I truly enjoy the peaks! My husband and I hiked to the top of Ben Nevis in 2017 failed to record it here, but everything is compared to that day! This was a beautiful trail. Be prepared for stairs. Definitely steep to the top, seemed to be straight up!! Views were absolutely stunning. Felt all four seasons in the way up with wind and sleet at the top. Ah, Scotland, ya beauty! Nice short trail, so very worth it!

this is quite an easy walk. the beginning is a bit steep however i done it with a 5 year old and he managed it no problem. It took us 1 hour 45 mins to get up and down and that was us having a picnic at the top. Great views on a nice day.
