enjoyed tge track. steep in places both up and down. path gets a bit patchy in places but that is the appeal. is muddy and wet in places. would suggest a walkung pole and good boots. watch the stream crossing if doing this walk in the winter. allow 4-5 hrs for the walk.

Loved it, round the head of the lake it can get muddy in some places. One bridge is out, have to climb down to.the creek and back out again. Fantastic view from the summit, and Piggets Camp ground is a pretty spot.

Excellent trail running loop

I did go counterclockwise on this track, but it was very remote, muddy and overgrown. Several times I had to search for the next set of orange trail markers so I could make sure I was still on the path. That was the nice thing about it. Orange trail markers for most of the confusing parts. But definitely really rugged and makes you feel like you might be covered in spiders. The first 5km from counter clockwise was great. But all the rest was really meh. You couldn’t see the lake you were walking around and the path generally sucked
