Easy flat hike with beautiful views of Mt Cook. Nearby campground is excellent and right at the start of this trail!

Amazing walk in winter, go for crampons and proper snow shoes if it's been snowing recently. Very slippery and slow so add an extra hour to two hours when icy.

Wonderful environment, very easy walk not exposed and partially built. Very crowded, leave before 6am for a better experience, strongly recommended.

Super easy and short relaxing walk with a nice view over the lake. The terminal face of Tasman black glacier is visible although quite far away. Big park nearby. Interesting partial view of Mount Cook. Family-friendly walk.

Easy for even the smallest kids and unexperienced hikers. More of a walk than a hike. If you're looking for a challenge, this ISN'T it. A LOT of people are on this track and it wasn't challenging enough for me, but it leads to Hooker Lake and Glacier at the bottom of Mt. Cook so it gets 4/5 stars just for the view.
